Well if you tried for the Kitchen Aid mixer last night from Lowe’s it was a bit of a bust. The promo was a little confusing and it seems they only released 100 total coupons for 90% off, which was not at all how I read the first announcement.
I tried to get it as did my husband and the site locked up for me right after I entered the code.
Anyhoo, they had not such a great response from people last night and it appears they will be releasing more codes and have more offers available.
If you want to continue to try and score a hot deal from Lowe’s, I would suggest checking in on the Facebook page this weekend.
I spoke with several bloggers this morning and between us all we had one reader actually win so I probably won’t post again unless they really have something you have a chance of getting. But please come back and let me know if you win one of these great coupons!

I won, too… Picked it up this morning.
They were supposed to have a whole bunch of different contests last night, but since their site crashed, they couldn’t. That’s why there were so few 90% off codes, there were supposed to be more coming on other products.
I think I would have been less annoyed had I actually been able to add the product to my cart and just didn’t get through checkout in time. I’ve done enough samples and deals to know that quantities are limited and you’re in a race with thousands of others to get it. But I tried several times (AFTER the code was released) to add it and it kept saying my cart was empty. It was a super slim chance of getting the discount, but I felt like I had no chance at all since it wouldn’t even add it to my cart. I mean how can you use any discount if you can’t even buy the product? Oh well. Lesson learned. I’ve never been one to bother with “Black Friday” events anyway so I guess I won’t be starting now!
Oh I was super confused! It took me awhile to figure out the code cause they said “gifts”, I didn’t know you had to add !!!. Moreover for over 100,000 people online waiting, they def should’ve released more codes. I know they made it very clear they’d only release 100 but once they seem the response Lowe’s should’ve been more generous.

I got one! I never make it in time to get any of those “slim chance” deals or freebies but last night was my lucky night! A Kitchen Aid Mixer for less than $20 bucks? Sweet!

They had a post on FB a couple of hours ago that said they were still having site troubles and they would give an update tomorrow…I can’t believe what a cluster it was last night. I was able to add the mixer to my cart, but it kept saying that my code was invalid…I think that instead of releasing the code and saying “go” they should somehow release single use codes to a certain number of people something.
