It is that time again! The Black Friday ads are trickling out and I will pass along the scoop as I get them! You can see the Kohl’s Black Friday ad posted here. One thing they are offering this year is $10 in Kohl’s cash for every $50 you spend.
So you get $10 in store credit essentially for every $50 you spend. Overall, I wasn’t especially impressed with this ad but they do have nice prices on Kitchen Aid mixers, Keurigs and Dyson. I bet we see online deals that rival those prices though. I will keep you updated as those 3 items are always at the top of my deal hunting list!
*I am adding a new tab onto the sidebar to keep track of all the Black Friday ads as they are leaked. You can click on the down down menu on the right sidebar just under Giveaways to find all of the ads that I post. Just look for Black Friday 2010.

I have to agree with you on not being impressed. I felt it was like a sunday ad. 🙁 Oh well. I hope the deals just keep getting better with each ad released.

^^^ My thought exactly!

I’m not happy with it at all 🙁 I wait patiently for the ad to come out and scan immediately for their Big One Throws and they usually have them for $5-$8 and they are normal Sunday pricing this year. Ugh. I hit Kohl’s every Black Friday but I wont be for this one.

I remember that. Last year I went and people were buck wild for those.

I’m gonna look at the positives and say that this will narrow down my shopping and keep me from driving across town this year , because my Kohls is so far from everything else. 🙂

black friday is dangerous but I guess with the economy, people want to save money, even @ 4am. I prefer my sleep, thanks much
Nicole says
Wow, you can get a pillow pet on “sale” for $19.99! Not at all impressed. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the deals do get better. Thanks for keeping us updated!
Just curious, what is the “buy price” for the Keurigs? I’ve been eyeing those for awhile, but I think I’m ready. (I’ve GOT to give up my horrible Starbucks habit!!) Thank you.
Charlene says
Karen- I will not be venturing out on Black Friday again unless they have BMWs on sale for 90% off. Stay in bed. Most of the stuff is available online anyway.
Charlene says
Ok Nicole, I will tell you when to pull the trigger. $100ish for the super nice one is what I am hoping to see. And I test drove the super nice one and just do it. If you have to eat Ramen Noodles for a month it is worth it 😛
Tammy says
I don’t like “after rebate”! What is that all about? That sucks!
Nicole says
Thanks, it’s a good thing I actually like ramen noodles!

Thank you so much for keeping track of the black fridays deals this year!!! That was the one thing I thought really needed to covered last year and of course you are on it! YOU ROCK!!!!

Hi Charlene! Thanks for the awesome job you do here! I will be skipping Kohl’s this year as well. It was rather a dud for me.
I do have a question though. In the Sears Black Friday ad, do you know if can you order online, like things such as appliances? Just curious?
Blessings!
Charlene says
Marva, I don’t know. What I found last year was that about 90% of the Black Friday items that were featured were available online as well as in stores. So I will not be dragging myself out at 4am for sure. Many stores also have Cyber Monday but personally I thought that was a bit of a bust last year. I have to post Sears either today or tomorrow and then I will look more carefully at the ad. I guess as the date gets closer you can always call them and ask. Usually they get snippy if you call this far in advance because not all places like that the ads are leaked.

Just a heads up! I got a $10 Gift card from Kohl’s in the mail yesterday. It is taped onto a mailer that says “CHRISTMAS KICKOFF SALE” It is good for anything in the store, effective 11/10-11/20. I might go and get the K-cups in anticipation of my new toy!
Renee H says
Ok, I’m still laughing at the pillow pals comment! Come on Kohls! Isn’t 19.99 for a pillow pal the regular price everywhere else??? These stores crack me up- if you’re gonna open at 4am then have some real sales that makes it worth people’s time to come!
Charlene says
I saw that too but refrained from commenting 🙂 Let’s see.. get up at 4am in the freezing cold and wait in line for an hour to get them for $19.99… or go to CVS at my convenience and get one for $19.99. I’ll have to think about that one 😉

Charlene–
How do you get great deals on men’s dress socks? I was hoping that someone would have something good for Black Friday, but i am not really seeing anything. What would you consider to be a good deal?
