Ya’ll this was on lightening deals with Amazon yesterday and I was so bummed I missed it! It sold out in literally 1 minute.
Anyhoo, they still have a good price on it today. In fact, this might be better than the lightening deal yesterday.
Amazon has the Hoover SteamVac Carpet Cleaner marked down from $179 to $125 with free shipping. The reviews are excellent and it looks like it works on carpets, bare floors and upholstery. (not hardwoods)
I checked Walmart and they have it priced at $146- but it is out of stock.
It looks like Best Buy has it for $109 but it is backordered. You might be able to pick it up in store. The total for me with tax when I tested it from Best Buy was $138.
i found it on best buy for 99 dollars shipped.. its not on backorder??
Kristin, I don’t think you are looking at the same one. It does indeed say backordered for me and it also says $109 not including tax.

The Best Buy tax sounds a bit high. We have high sales tax (9.75%) and my total was around $121. I went with Amazon anyway because it was $125 shipped to my door! Thank you for helping us save so much! With 3 kids, we really needed this! 🙂
Right Mary. It worked out to $138 for me to pick up or $125 from Amazon 🙂 Of course the taxes and regulations will be different from state to state but there are two different options.
I have this steam vac and bought it after loads of research. I just LOVE it! And it’s less than I paid~ so snatch it up if you want one!
Hmm. not sure Ann- maybe I looked at it to quickly or checked something else. No matter. After going to 2 stores yesterday you can’t pay me enough to go back 😉 I will happily wait for Mr UPS to come to my door even if it is a little more expensive.
Oh thanks Kate! They have 1683 reviews so I was thinking it was a good deal. The turkey we bought our house from installed white carpets. They really look terrible and after this kitchen remodel we won’t be replacing them anytime soon.
I have this steam vac and I love it. It is a bit heavy (as they all are) but it has a nice carry handle. It also cleans very well! My husband inadvertently knocked a bucket of paint onto my carpet this year and after it cleaned up! Of course, it took a long time to get it up but it cleaned up none-the-less. 🙂

I also looked at the Best Buy deal and if you select store pickup, you do not have to wait for the backorder date. It is actually available for pick up now at all of my stores! Wow! $109 is a HOT deal!
