I have never used groupon before. Can you explain how it works? So even if I dont live in or near the cities you have listed in the deals above I can purchase them? So if I understand correctly I am purchasing a voucher I can use at a later date???

Hi, I have personally published a book through Blurb and the quality is beyond fantastic!!!! I am already planning on doing another book with them in the near future. Thanks for the heads up on the Groupon with them today.

Chrissy it is very simple. Just click the link to register and then you can click to buy the blurb groupon. This is an online offer so anyone, in any city can take advantage. You might as well register for your city and get emails because they really have incredible deals- here are a few we have done in the past in our city:
$30 restaurant voucher for $10
$50 basketball game tickets for $15
3 hours of housecleaning for $30
and we just splurged for my 34th birthday and bought a fancy suite in a Sonoma hotel for $139 🙂
So you buy the groupon and then probably tomorrow go back into your account and the voucher is waiting for you. It will have detailed directions on how to redeem. You must spend $60 at once and it expires in February.
Also, I have had issues with companies in the past that I bought Groupons for (just one actually) and literally within 5 minutes of sending an email I had my money back from Groupon. No stink was made- I didn’t even have to provide proof of the problem. I can’t say enough good things 🙂

Just a reminder that the Gap Groupon expires Friday!! I just used mine today, all sweaters were 40% off at my local store up here in Portland. I got 3 sweaters and paid $10 after my Groupon!!

I’m going to pee my pants I’m so excited!! Blurb is AWESOME. I’ve been ordering books from them since 2006 and I can honestly say they are the best ever. The Booksmart software (free to download from their site) is so easy to use! I write a family blog that I publish via Blurb into a book every year and give to my Mom for Christmas. This will help a ton since my books are about 200 pages, sometimes 300!!

I completely agree with Cali. I’ve been using Blurb for about three years now to publish my family blog into a book/journal and they are AMAZING! I’m half-way through my 2010 book already, so this is PERFECT timing!! I don’t normally pay full price for photo books, but I ALWAYS am willing to pay for my BLURB books. It ‘slurps’ your entire blog, pictures and text and puts it all together for you. NOW I can do it with a discount! THANK YOU for mentioning them!! WAHOO!
