There is a new ad perk coupon available for a free $100 Rite Aid coupon book. This book has been available in some stores but I haven’t included it in the matchups because it doesn’t seem to be widely available.
But now they would actually like you to have one! If you have a store that has a Flu Shot immunization clinic you can watch an ad perk video and print out a coupon for a free booklet. You don’t actually need to get your shot there- just watch the video. (UPDATE: So of course it seems now that some stores ARE requiring the shot to get the booklet. I guess your luck will vary or you can call ahead and just ask. The coupon does not actually say that you must get one that I can see.)
You can click below to see the complete list of coupons. These are all Rite Aid coupons so they CAN be stacked with manufacturer coupons.
Also, I mentioned this with the coupon preview last week. But if you missed it, Lysol is offering a $5 rebate when you get a flu shot from 11/7-11/30. There is no purchase necessary so this is an awesome offer!
This is only available in the US and for some reason Rhode Island is excluded. There is one per household and you can download your Lysol rebate form here.

I went today to get my booklet after I printed my ad perk coupon. They said I could not get my coupon booklet unless I got the shot. I then asked to talk to the store manager about it. He said you have to have the flu shot. I explained that on the ad perk coupon it does not say that. If that was the case why would you have to even watch the ad perk video? I then asked for corporate number. I called corporate and they told me you had to have the flu shot. I think it was very misleading.

Oh Denise Shoot! Ok let me update the post and I will also contact my RA Corp guy to ask about it. Give us the darn coupons already!

I was in mrytle beach sc over the weekend and literally every
thirty minutes they were playing a commercial for rite aid flu shots On the radio ; well get this (at the very end of the commercial it specifically stated); no flu shot required to get the coupon book!!!! It was amazing.. I am wondering if you can record it on your phone and take it into the store.. lol

I just watched the ad perk and it says on the video (on the bottom of the screen) that no purchase is necessary to receive the coupons.

So I went to Rite Aid today to use some of my ad perks (video values) and the clerk said that I could not stack them with a manufactures coupon. She pointed out that on the ad perk it clearly states that it is a manufactures coupon and cannot be combined with any other coupons. What do you think of this? I thought I could use both.
Charlene says
Ann you can. She is wrong. Just click on drugstore 101 at the top of the blog and you will see the coupon policy that you can carry with you when you shop.
Annye says
We got our flu shots on Friday, November 5. So much for being proactive!

I went to rite aid to use my video perk coupons for the maybelline and garnier shampoo they told me that they are no longer accepting internet coupons.

And as if the coupon and the in-store audio commercial weren’t enough proof you don’t need the vaccine to get the coupon booklet, the RiteAid website states that no purchase is necessary http://www-riteaid-com.netsolads.com/promos/flu_clinic/ . (See the footnotes at the bottom). Several weeks ago when the booklet came out, I casually asked for one and they wouldn’t give me one without the shot. The next week I printed out the page and handed it to the pharmacist. She didn’t look too happy, but she did give me a booklet.

I was able to pick up several coupon booklets at my store in Brooklyn, NY. There were atleast 30 bookles on display near the cash registers. No flu shot needed…There are atleast 5 stores near me, and for each I literally had to call Rite Aid customer service and ask them to call the store manager to inform them of their coupon policy. Prior to that I was told that no internet coupons accepted, not allowed to stack and accused having fake coupons etc..Now I have no problems. 🙂
