Home Depot has great prices on Dyson vacuums right now. They have the DC17 on sale for $286 and the DC33 and the DC24 for $318.
The DC17 will be $17 cheaper at Target on Black Friday- but the ad says it is a doorbuster with limited quantities available so you will probably want to get there early. The DC33 will be $299- so $19 cheaper.
If you don’t want to bother with Black Friday I think this is a great deal plus shipping is free. You can also use Ebates for 5% cash back- which would be $14.30 on the DC17.

UPDATE: Reader Denise found a better deal at Kohls if you happen to have a Kohl’s charge card. The DC 33 is priced at $399. If you use your Kohls card, code: HOLIDAYGIFT will take 30% off. That brings the total to $279. They are also offering $10 Kohls cash back for every $50 you spend. So you should get back $50 in Kohl’s cash! Shipping is free!
Last year, people didn’t seem too concerned with the vacuums. At least at my Target. I had no problem getting one and i was far from one of the first in the door. Now the toys and electronics were another story.
Thanks Anita. I heard from many people that don’t care to go to Black Friday sales so I think for less than $5 to not have to fight any crowds or worry about inventory this is certainly worth considering.
I am considering purchasing one through Kohls. I have a 30% off coupon code bringing the DC33 down to 279.99 (shipping is free) and I get Kohls Cash ($50) and 4% back.
If anyone got the Home Depot Home Decorators catalong in the mail the other day it came w/ a 10% online purchase coupon code on the back – (unique for each person) could make it a better deal!

How long does it take for the ebates to show up in your account? This is the first time I have used ebates. I bought the $318 vaccum through home depot. I then went to ebates to see if it credited and it said $0.00. I’m sure it takes some time for it to show up.
Gina, I got that in today’s mail but mine says 10% off at homedecorators.com not Home Depot. Is yours different? We are spending a fortune at Home Depot remodeling our kitchen- I’d love that coupon!
These are great deals – and the Dyson DC17 is an amazing vacuum! I had a DC14 before I got the DC17, it was fantastic, but they’ve made so many improvements (that you never knew you needed before you tried it!). I would DEFINITELY take advantage of these sales if you’re in the market for a new vacuum (no way I would camp out at a physical Target store on Black Friday though…).
