Well I happen to think this is a great deal. If you need cereal and prefer to have to delivered to your doorstep, Amazon has 3 boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios for $5.52. That works out to $1.84 a box and delivery is free.
I have noticed that the price of cereal is going up and the coupons are getting lower in value. Right now some of the best deals I am seeing with coupons are about $1.50/box so this is actually not bad at all.
To get this deal, just head over to Amazon and you need to click on Subscribe and Save on the upper right corner. Enter your address and payment info and your price should be $5.52 for 3 boxes- these are the normal size boxes 12.25 oz- not family size or snack size.
Shipping is free and it should come in just a few days.
Then you simply need to go back into your account and click on manage subscribe and save. Then cancel- you have no obligations whatsoever. Technically you might want to wait until you get your boxes to cancel, but I ordered these last week and I cancelled immediately after I ordered with no problems at all.
Usually I don’t like to pay this much for cereal but we have been busy and the weather is awful and everyone is sick so if you are in the same boat this is a great deal!

I agree with you on the cereal prices! I have been using coupons for a year solid now and we eat like two boxes per week and I never paid more then a dollar per box. But right now we have no cereal, because I just can’t give up my cereal threshold. But I’m thinking $1.50 is my new buy price …. I think I might just order this cereal! Thanks for the heads up! By the way I think this has happened because of no more Shortcuts and Cellfire coupons at Safeway …..
Walmart has boxes of regular cheerios with a $10 dollar off coupon on leapster explorer plus a free learning app code.
Not that it helps now, but Rite Aid had select Kellogg’s cereals 4 for $4 after +up LAST week. I got 4 boxes of Raisin Bran for .75 each (20 oz) after coupon. So I think the deals are still out there, but you are right, not as many as a few months ago.
Right Claire and a lot of the time it is just the effort involved. I just simply haven’t had the time to pull the deals together and run around. I could have picked up a few boxes at CVS for .99 but then when I really look at the extra hour of time versus about $3- well sometimes you just raise the white flag.
