$5 Cookbook Sale from Taste of Home!

Taste of Home has a $5 cookbook sale today.  This only comes around every so often and these can make great holiday gifts.

Get free shipping and 20% off with a $20 purchase and code: LST26 or get free shipping on a $20 order with code LST02.  I tested this with 4 books and the shipping did not come off- so it might be $20 after the code.  When I added 5 books to my cart and used code: LST26, the priced dropped to $20 total for 5 books shipped- or $4 each.

I tested shipping on just one book and it was $5.99- so it is a much better deal with a few books.

Head over to Taste of Home to have a look!

Ebates has 5% back.

So anyone else get Taste of Home 2011 contest winning recipes automatically in the mail with a $25 bill to go with it? If you don’t send it back then you owe them! I swear I didn’t request this when I got all my $5 cookbooks. Not sure what I did or didn’t do but now I have to mail the book back to them and the thing is I LIKE IT! bummer. I love all my other $5 cookbooks too though. Curious if this happened to anyone else?

    Hi Charlene,
Just thought I’d mention that when I purchased my $5 books they somehow managed to auto enroll me for some sort of free preview program and that’s why I got the above listed book (actually 2010 winning recipes but anyways)…I am very careful not to sign up for things I don’t want so when I called to cancel and ask for a return shipping label they said that I placed the order Dec. 13th (I ordered my $5 books on nov. 18th). I told them to prove the order to me and they couldn’t and went ahead and dis-enrolled me for their “preview program” (that they send you a bill for $25 to pay if you like it). At least they were good about cancelling but just wanted to let you know so that next time this deal comes through you can add a cautionary message for people to watch out for this sort of thing. Don’t want anyone else stuck with having to make calls to cancel something they didn’t order.

I love my $5 books though!
