Winco: Cheap Waffles, Albertson’s: Cheap Water, CVS: Free Baby Wipes!

These deals may not work for everyone- but I couldn’t resist posting because they are a great way to get the weekend started!

Reader Judy found Aunt Jemima waffles priced at $1.18 at Winco.  When she opened the box there were $2/2 coupon inside- so she can get 2 more boxes for .18 each!  If you have boxes of these in the freezer you might take a quick look inside.

This week at Albertson’s there appears to be a hidden deal that is working in So CA.  If anyone else tries this let us know how it goes!

Arrowhead Aquapods are priced at .99
There is a catalina running: Buy 2 and get $1, or Buy 3 and get $2 back

So here is your deal:
Buy 3 8pks at .99
Pay $2.97 and get a $2 cat back!!

So even better you don’t need to use coupons- just be sure you only buy 3 at a time.  I love these no coupon deals because I can send my husband in to get them.  (Now we just need an Albertson’s!)

I believe this is also running at Raleys and it looks like Safeway. I don’t have all the details yet for those stores but if I find a great deal I will get it posted!

(Thanks Southern Cali Saver!)

Reader Katie got a coupon from the CVS scanner for $3 off any CVS tub or refill wipes.  Tubs of wipes are priced at $2.99- so free!  Oh I hope I get this coupon as well!

Thanks for the great deals ladies!

Hi, do you know if the Albertson catalina deal works at Lucky? Thanks!

I got the $3 wipes coupon, but it beeped when I tried to purchase the tub. The cashier said it was .99 off the tubs and $3 off the refill pack (which is $6.99). The coupon says tubs or refills of 144+ wipes. I may try to use it at another CVS and see what happens.

My Raleys has these for 2 for $3 and get a $1 catalina back (when you buy 2). Plus, there was $1 off coupon on the Red Plum last week that will make it even better.

    2 for $3
    Use (2) 1/1 from 10/17 RP
Pay: $1 +CRV after coupon get $1 Cat back

Same here with the CVS coupon. The tubs are 140 wipes, I believe, and the coupon is for 144 on up. I looked high and low and couldn’t find anything that would give me a good deal within the parameters of the coupon. I’m hoping maybe an ECB deal would surface on CVS wipes before my coupon expires.

Josie that is what mine is as well. I think sometimes these manufacturers try to make them as confusing as they possibly can to trip us up.

    Charlene,
we have a Winco just opening up in our town TODAY! I’m not sure if it’s that great of deals, but with Safeway going the way they are – looking for other options… Are you posting on Winco deals regularly? Are they national? Do you have a blog suggestions to follow for weekly deals?
Thank you for the help and all you do for us frugal wannabees!
    Blessings,
    Courtney

Courtney not really. Personally I don’t care for the Winco by me but I do have a reader that shops there regularly, Judy. She might be willing to share deals with you. The issue with Winco is that they don’t really have an ad. Also they are very challenging with coupons- especially IP coupons. So I used to know a blog that would go there every week and check for sales but she stopped a long time ago. Plus who knows if each store has the same items. So I THINK they are looking at a weekly ad- but I haven’t really followed it. If they do I will certainly consider doing those each week if they do release an ad that applies to multiple stores.

The winco next to us doesnt take home printed coupons 🙁 but they do have make your own pb and bulk section that makes for cheap spices so its a toss up for me..
