Well I didn’t see this deal early enough to check it out myself. But I wanted to post it for those of you still planning trips to Toys R Us.
Apparently they have the Strawberry Shortcake Sweet Styles priced at $9.99. If you were lucky enough to get the extra toy coupons in the 9/26 SS insert- there is a $10 off Strawberry Shortcake coupon you can use to get these for free!
(I did call my store just to check the price and I was told they only had the Berry Sweet Styles which is more expensive- so I can’t promise you will find this item in your store.)
Also, the Littlest Pet Shop figures are $2.99. If you have the Buy One Get One coupons from the same insert- those are just $1.50 each!

*As always, some Toys R Us stores are truly wonderful about accepting coupons and some will refuse them altogether. You can always call your store and ask if you are not sure.
UPDATE: Darn I am sorry. Super thoughtful reader Brooke sent a few of the actual coupons my way and I just got them in the mail! I can see the coupon reads “Berry Sweet Styles.” I don’t think the coupons are meant for the cheaper version which I am sure was just an honest mistake. The Littlest Pet Shop should still work though!
my coupons says strawberry shortcake berry sweety styles and the toy that is pictured is different from the one in the post. is this the coupon that was used in the featured transaction or was there another strawberry shortcake coupon?
Rachelle- funny you should ask 🙂 I didn’t have these coupons in my paper and I just checked my mail and viola! A very thoughtful reader sent a few my way. Soo.. you are 100% correct. I think this might have just been a mistake because these toys are very confusing. There is a Sweet Styles toy and a Berry Sweet Styles toy. The Berry Sweet is $19.99 and that is what the coupon is for. So no free shortcakes after all!
Actually … I just got back from TRU and they scanned with not problems!!!! Make sure to have a filler though 😉

I used the $10 off coupon last week when the Berry Sweet Remote Car was on sale for $14.99 (from $19.99)- used 2 $10 coupons and the TRU $5/$25 coupon and got 2 cars with tax for $6!
Also the littlest pet shop toys were for SPECIFIC ones.

I went to TRU today. The Stawberry Shortcake is very misleading. It’s literally and extra word in the title and $19.99. I had to triple check the box and coupon before I saw the difference. The Little Pet Shops that are included in the B1G1 are $5.36 each.

Yeah Cam I tried to clarify that the deal is wrong. I don’t think the person that found it was intending to be deceitful at all- I think it was an innocent mistake. Is that not clear that the post was retracted? I will have to read it again because I thought I said it was wrong.
Oh no Charlene, you did say it was wrong. I was giving the correct prices so if someone still wanted to get it, there is a deal in there somewhere!
Ah got it. So the whole deal was a mess. Poop I thought the Pet Shoppe was at least working.
