Remember the supplemental ad for Safeway this week? There are several great deals that run through 10/9- but you will need to actual ad to get the coupons.

You can use the $.50/1 any Land o Lakes coupon
and get it free (with doubles) or for .49 (without doubles)
To make the deal even better there is currently a .75/1 catalina that is printing on every tub purchased! So that means you get paid to buy butter this week- which sounds pretty darn good to me.
UPDATE: Well darn. It looks like the cat is NOT printing for many people- so I don’t know if there is a specific item that triggers it or if it is regional. I called catalina today and they did not have a record of this in my area. It looks like it is regional and I do not have any idea which regions it is in. .49- free butter is a great deal and the extra cat will just be an added bonus but I wouldn’t count on it!

they were out of the land o lakes stick coupon, so sad.! so I got a rain check. 😛 it was pretty popular since butter is never that cheap($2.49)
Anymore info on the Catalina. Can you buy than one butter in a transaction and get more than one Cat?

Sarah what is posted is the extent of the information that I have. I waited on hold for 17 minutes with catalina today and I am sorry but I can’t wait anymore. I sent them an email and if they decide to respond I will update. Otherwise I am not holding out on anything else.
I bought this tub butter today. It says on the package Do Not Freeze.

Hmm. There is a chance it is regional cat. I think it is worth buying at free or .49 but probably best to test that the cat prints before buying a lot. It could have just started today too and maybe the stores don’t have it set up yet.
I tried to buy (4) of the tubs at Safeway this morning and the cashier would not take the $.50/1 coupon because the product picture was different than the large tub shown in your blog.
I told him that they can’t possibly print a picture of every product the coupon can be used on, but he wouldn’t budge.
Is the $.50/1 coupon a good match for the tubs that are $.99 with in-ad coupon?
Dancinmama- sorry but that is funny 🙂 What a turkey you had today. You are right of course. Imagine if they had to picture every single product on a coupon! You would need a binder that accomodated poster boards! Yes the coupon says any Land O lakes spreadable butter I think it is. So just fine on the .99 ones. Good luck!

There’s a $0.55/1 coupon for this specific product – “Fresh Buttery Taste”. It should work for a better deal too!
i did not get the cat either. I live in Wa State
No cat for me on the LOL Fresh Buttery Taste today. Then again, my cat didn’t print right on the Nature Valley either. Looks like a call to Catalina is in my future! 😉 Still, free butter is a great deal!! 🙂 Can’t complain!
