I only heard from one reader that tried the Olay Pro X deal at Rite Aid yesterday. I thought this would be a popular deal so if anyone else tried it- let us know how it worked out for you!
I posted a scenario in the Rite Aid deals for those lucky people that got the $5 off coupons in the 10/10 P&G. For those that did not here is what reader Lori did:
She did two transactions- each were identical:
Buy 2 Olay Pro X Cleansers at $17.99
Use $5/25 Rite Aid coupon
Use (2) $2/1 Olay Cleanser coupon from 9/26 P&G
Final Price: $26.98
Now the ad is not clear what the limit is on the $10 +Up but Lori did get a $10 +Up for each cleanser she bought! So here deal worked out like this:
Transaction #1: $26.98
Transaction #2: $26.98
Total Paid: $53.96
Got back $40 in +Up Rewards and submitted for the $20 rebate when you spend $50 from Olay!
So about a $6 profit after all that.
I was at my Rite Aid today to check out this deal and they were sold out of the cleanser. The other products in the line are $35.99+

I’m headed out now to try the deal. I was pouting because I didn’t get the big $5 off coupon in the paper…just $1.00 off. However, I’m hoping to get 2 of the ProX Moisturizers and utilize my coupon “Buy Two Olay Facial Moisturizers and Get One Anti Aging Eye Roller Free”.
Not sure how it’s all going to play out. I’ll let you know how that goes….

Also I read somewhere that there are $5 off Pro X coupon inside the package. I plan to investigate those packages before taking them to the counter!!!
I went to Rite Aid today and of course they were out of the Olay cleanser BUT I asked the lady at the counter for one of the coupon booklets and she gave me 2. BONUS is there is a $2 Olay Rite Aid coupon in there. Hopefully I’ll be able to do this transaction before the sale ends.
I have finally found 4 bottle of the pro X cleanser!!! Each store only had one each, I”m told because they’re rather expensive and not a big seller they only stock one at a time? I have the 10% discount so they each rang up at $16.10 and each time a paired them with free items to get to the $25 and used the $5 of $25. I got 4 $10 UP rewards and “rolled” them!
On the Olay site you can request a $5.00 coupon on one Pro-X product. You have to fill out a form and it says one per household.
I went to 4 different stores yesterday, and only found one cleanser. Why don’t they stock items that they have on sale? It drives me crazy!!! I did ask when/if they would get them back in stock, but the answers are always vague. This time I got, “we get shipments every night, but only stock that section on Saturdays” WHAT IS THAT?
Annoying Nicole. I don’t shop at RA or Walgreens because I know if I am not first in line on Sunday they won’t have inventory. Take CVS on the other hand with the Purex and my store had an entire box and an overflowing shelf. I even went to 2 stores just to be sure and there was really no need to do that- they had plenty of inventory.
I found a Rite Aid in Sacramento on my way to work that usually has stock on Monday, but after that forget it! It’s not worth the time or energy as far as I’m concerned. BTW, I love CVS as well!
Charlene, my Pro X deal did not go down last night at Rite Aid. They only had one cleanser and the moisturizer was priced at $46.99 OUCH!! Since I just took advantage of the Amazon Neutrogena deal, decided I didn’t Olay Pro X.

my Rite Aid in Waterford Mi was great. I went in there yesterday and they were out so the lady called and ordered it. I stopped in today and guess what, she opened her tote and there it was. Yea. I also used the coupon buy two moisturizers get a free eye roller in another transaction. I got 2 moisturizers with spf each marked $8.99 but it was buy one get one half off plus I got the eyeroller free. I of course used some old up rewards, a $5 off $25 and a couple olay coupons. I think my oop was $3 and change. It was a good day…..
I’m heading to RA in a few minutes. I have:
5$ off 25$ Q
4$ off 20 Q (Videos)
1$ off (videos)
2$ off Q (newspaper)
for each transaction. This brings each transaction to 16.00 plus tax and a return of 20.00 up rewards.
So 32.00 oop (total)
40.00 up rewards
20.00 rebate
I make 28.00
I will also purchase all of the items on the back page for full rebates and use most of it to donate to my charity. The gain dish soap is free with the coupons in Sundays paper as well. Nyquil comes to 99 cents with the up reward and P and G coupon in last Sunday’s paper. crest is .49 cents with the coupon from the same insert. i won’t get that because I have 12 in my stock that I paid zero for. It’s all relative.
It’s a great week at RA.
