Reader Amanda sent in an awesome Rite Aid scenario that she did just this morning.  Now she was able to use quite a few coupons- so your price may be slightly higher depending on what you have:

Transaction #1
2 NYC Nail Polishes @ 1.99 each (BOGO)
Used (2) $1/1 printable coupons
Total = $0
Received $2 in +Up rewards ($1 per NYC item purchased)

Transaction #2
3 Huggies Pure and Natural @ $8.99 each
Total = $26.97
Used (3) $3/1 Huggies Pure & Natural coupons (you can also print $2.50/1 coupons)
Used $4/20 ad perk coupon
Used $2/1 Huggies ad perk coupon (from last month– no longer available)
Used $1/1 Rite Aid any purchase ad perk coupon
Used (2) $1 +Up  from prior transaction
Total OOP = $8.97
Then she got back (3) $2 +Up rewards for the Huggies.  So the net was $2.97 or less than $1 per pack!

If you don’t have the $2 off ad perk from last month and can only print (2) of those $3 coupons, your total would be $1.82 per pack

Thanks Amanda- awesome scenario!

My $5/25 went through today with no “bonking.” It did “bonk two days ago. Seems as though they may be working again which would great for this diaper deal.

Tracy- you guys just see comments on each post and I see comments on my screen as they come through. So I just had a discussion with another reader about this on another post 🙂 RA asked me to remove any reference to the $5/25 coupons because they have individual serial numbers and are to be used by one person one time. So it appears things are changing 🙁 They also alluded to the fact that the $5/25 and $4/20 ad perk coupons will be a thing of the past. So no telling how much longer they will accept those coupons.

was reading your latest post thought you only could use one up reward per transaction?

Cheryl- I am not sure what that means? Do you mean that you can only pay for your items with one Up Reward? You can pay for them with as many as you have. If you mean do you only receive one +Up reward back when you buy each item- apparently these diapers are printing multiple +Ups in the same transaction. I have been told by Rite Aid that it is supposed to be a limit of one per person blah.. blah.. but that has not been the case at all. I can’t promise you anything but it seems to have been working for people for awhile now. The ads no longer say a limit of 1 on many items so in short I haven’t a clue what is going on with Rite Aid. From what I hear from readers they are printing for each item purchased for weeks now and they are rolling just fine. Again, I can’t publish any guarantees- I can only tell you what has worked for others.

Was at Rite Aid today in VA & my $5/$25 PDF (exp 12/31, & 10/31) both went through without beeps! I was pleased. The cashier at the second store told the manager, who just happened to be standing there, that it didnt beep & we had a quick disscusion about it. Apparently they had one earlier that day that beeped so I was curious about the deal with some working and some not & he said apparently there is a fake coupon out there somewhere. So, it seems to be quite a few different reasons as to whats happening in the Rite Aid coupon world lately.

My RA shopping trip went better than expected. Did the B1G1 Renpure–one of the bottles was connected to another, so I ended up with 3 for 1 (6.99), used my $3 ad perk, and 2 $1 up rewards printed. I don’t think those were advertised. So…I got 3 bottles of Renpure for $1.99!

Is the $3.00 coupon still available? Cannot seem to find it in the link included.

    Thanks.

Sydney it should be. Just click on Smart Source and then select Huggies from the drop down menu on the right side. Leave your zip code blank.

So this may be a silly question, but I’m new to the rite aid world. The +Up rewards can they be used to buy any other item or are they just for one specific thing?

  10. Charlene says

    10/27/2010 at 8:24 PM

+Up are very similar to ECBs. You can use them on almost anything- unless you intend to play the lotto and buy liquor and cigarettes.

Thank you, now I need to go try this!

    Would this work???

Buy 1 NYC nail polish @ $1.99 get one free
-$1 coupon (wouldn’t let me print twice)
    =.99 (plus taxes) for 2 and get $2 +up

Then buy 3 packs of Huggies
    8.99 x 3 = 26.97
    -$4 ($4 off $20 coupon)
    =$22.97
    -$8.99 (free huggies jumbo pack)
    -$8.99 (free huggies jumbo pack)
    -3.00 huggies coupon
    =$1.99
    – (2) $1 +up coupons from prev. purchase!
= -0.01 (I would buy a pack of gum or something just so i’m not neg.)
    PLUS get $6 in +up!!!

    WOULD THIS WORK??
**I got the free huggies coups because I complained about a pack I bought!**

    And then turn around and….

buy 1 jumbo pack of huggies
    $8.99
    -2.50 coupon
    -$6 +up coupons
    =$0.49!!! AND get $2 +up???????? WOW!!

So would they let me use the $4 off $20 coup with the 2 free packs of huggies coups??? 🙂

  15. Charlene says

    10/29/2010 at 7:56 AM

Liz- your free item coupon should be no different than any coupon for Huggies so it should be OK. I use free item coupons all the time at CVS to hit $20 to use a coupon. If you have a stinker store, you might print the coupon policy just in case and call RA customer service if you have any problems at all. Also, this late in the week the selection of diapers might be low. You can always buy what they have and exchange them later. Let us know how it goes!

    Is there a $5 off $25 somewhere???

  17. Charlene says

    10/29/2010 at 9:13 AM

Liz no there is not currently a $5/25 coupon. You just get the one $4/20 ad perk coupon.
