From today through the 21st you can head in and get a free kids item of equal or lesser value for each adult item you buy. Sadly, this is only for those with Old Navy cards. This is unlimited and you can get all the details on the Facebook page.
Reader Ashley told me she bought men’s jeans for $16 and got a fleece bundle up outfit for her little one for free. It appears this is only for regular or sale items- not clearance but I would double check that at your store.
Thanks Ashley!

I went this morning for the $10 Sweater deal. I purchased quite a few for myself and for Christmas presents. As I was checking out, they reminded me of the “free kids” event, so I signed up for the card and ended up with A Lot of FREE clothing. My total was $192.00 for $850.00 worth of clothing! I also was able to use a coupon:) (That amount is from the original prices). Best Deal Ever!
I went yesterday. The “hitch” is that the coupon is a one-time deal so if you’re planning to take advantage be sure to stock up because you can only use the coupon and your Old Navy/Gap card once for this savings.
I went this morning also and bought 2 sweaters for myself and got 2 pairs of jeans free for my neice! The manager did say that clearance was exlcuded.
I went three times today and had no trouble getting the kids items free each time. I also did the sweater deal and got free jeans for my daughter. So for $10 sweater and jeans.
I went yesterday and today for the $10 sweater deal and was able to do the B1G1 both times. It should be fine as long as you’re using your Old Navy card. I got a ton of free stuff for my 6 year old and the one I have on the way!
I scored 6 sweaters, 3 adult 3 kids, 2 pairs of jeans 1 adult, 1 kid and 4 tops, 2adult 2kids. One of the shirts didn’t count because it was on clearance. I didn’t know it until I checked out but it was ok because it rang up for 50% off of clearance price so .98 cents for a top for my daughter. I also got 2 pks of underwear for my husband and one of those ended up being on clearance. Total I spent $72. It wasn’t a bad trip and our sweaters for family xmas pictures are bought. yea!!
I went yesterday, got five $10 sweaters and six clearance t-shirts for my daughter.. When I handed my Old Navy gift card to the cashier, she thought it was a credit card, and scanned the bar code for the free kids item that she had on her computer… i didn’t even have a coupon. Turns out it was for card holders only, so I applied for one, and got another 10% off… Original price $75, total spent $53. Not a huge savings from original, but I don’t think $53 is bad for 5 sweaters (4 of which are Christmas presents) and 6 t-shirts!
