In My Mailbox Today….

Well a lot of great freebies in my mailbox today!  My favorite was the Core Bamboo Cutting Board!

I actually ordered it several weeks ago- I registered for Beyond the Rack and they put $10 in my account just for registering.  Then I just watched the sales and they had a sale on Core Bamboo cutting boards- which were priced at $10- so free!.  I did have to pay shipping which was $8- so still a great price.

I also got the Que Vida samples– including a box of Hamburger Helper and a sample of cereal.  The cereal has already been snatched away by grabby fingers.  The package had coupons as well- so a great sample!

I got the free Johnsonville Deli Bites.

A free magazine subscription- I usually get 5 magazines or more per week because there are so many that are free or just pennies an issue.

I got the free socks from Ozone.  Those aren’t the most attractive socks but they are really good quality.

And the free Fisher Price toy.

I got a Target baby mailer- no one knows the secret to how to get on the mailing lists for extra Target coupons.  I get the baby ones and I personally think I was added when I created a baby registry.  Other people think you get them when you place online orders or if you have a credit card.  (I have never had a Target credit card).  So who knows!

I got the Mambo Sprouts coupon book- this is the last one they will mail out but you can print the coupons.

AND a coupon for a free pack of Huggies.  I cashed in my Huggies Rewards points and got that coupon.  I will just hold onto it for a good sale so that I can actually make a profit buying diapers.

I totally forgot I had a credit for BYR! Hopefully I’ll be able to score a good deal like you did!

Do you know how long it took your huggies coupon to get to you? I have a pull-ups one on the way and I hope my son isn’t done with them before it gets here!

Oh and that looks like the same target baby thing I got. I got it before I even set up my registry and it’s the only thing like that I’ve ever gotten from them. Mine didn’t have any coupons other than a gift card for setting up a registry.

Kelly you have to really watch the emails and wait for something you can use. I was looking at TJ Maxx for those cutting boards and they were much more expensive. I will say it really took a long time to get my order.

I got the deli bites, but I’m still waiting on the Fisher Price toy. That cutting board looks nice!

CJs- it is super nice! It is the same one they had on One Kings Lane that one day but I ordered this before that sale came along.

Please share when you have time on how to make money with the Huggies Rewards diaper coupons. I have one now and it is worth up to $12 in value. I am anxious to learn how to maximize this. Thanks for your great tips. I have bought so many diapers and payed so little I am actually donating two unused boxes to a needy family.

    Thanks a million!!

Oh Robyn simple. Just wait for an ECB deal or a RR or whatever on them. So like sometimes CVS will run an ECB deal- buy a jumbo at $9.99 and get $2 ECB. Use your coupon and pay 0 and get $2 ECB. Does that make sense? Or if you happen upon a gorgeous 3/15 or 4/20 CVS coupon. These are great to use to help you hit that $15 or $20 mark and then you can pay next to nothing oop and still get $3 or $4 in other items you might need for free. Or buy a MM or free after ECB item at CVS that week and you have a great deal. So take this week for example at CVS-

if you happen to have a $3/15 coupon
Buy 1 Renu contact solution at $7.99
    Buy Huggies at $9
    Use $3/15 coupon
    Use free Huggies coupon
pay $4.99 and get $7.99 in ECBs back

    Does that make sense?

The bites were pretty good! We received ours in the mail this week too!

Yup great scenario. I am on my way to CVS to do this. I always need contact solution and I have a $1 off Renu to sweeten the deal. I love learning to think outside the box.

Thanks! I hadn’t thought about actually using a free coupon like that to make money. That was a great mailbox day! Can’t wait to get those Johnsonville Deli Bites! Hubby will love them!

My girls always get the mail (they are 3) and they were SO excited today because we got that little Fisher-Price Car that they were giving away 6 weeks or so ago! Getting the mail is SO much more fun when there could be freebies inside!
I get the Target coupons, too. I never had a registery there, but maybe it’s because I’ve ordered baby stuff from Target.com (?) However I get them, I’ll take em!

When I got the free huggies coupon, I took it to Target and out of simplicity sake just bought a jumbo pack. When they rang it up, a guy had to come over and authorize it but proceeded to tell me that because the value of the coupon was not to exceed $12 (it says that on the coupon) he let me buy a big box and I paid the difference. I thought $7 for a big box was a pretty good deal. But making a profit is even better 🙂

I was wondering about the deli bites, I signed up for those months ago and thought we were supposed to get them in Sept! Hopefully mine come soon! I’m anxious to get them!

Great day for you! My Que Rica Vida samples weren’t nearly as good – and I didn’t get any coupons. 🙁 I am still waiting for my Deli Bites sample… I did get the Fisher Price toy last week – a Christmas gift for my godson!

This week was laundry detergent sample week for me! My husband makes fun of me everyday because the mail is always full of samples for me! 🙂

wow it must be nice to be in your house, its like x-mas everytime you visit the mailbox. ours its like a PO box with our apt. so we have a key and its very small, can’t fit alot of samples in it. I would be worried about having a house and having your mail stolen. eek!

Karen- we have one of those boxes that are locked for our house. And it has the huge box next to it. My mailman usually stuffs our mail in there because we get so much. I don’t request many samples but I do get a lot of magazines.

Emily you didn’t get a brown box with the free products from them? I heard some got Cheeseburger Helper and some got Bisquik.

Nooo…I only got a small package of Bisquick, a Nature Valley bar and a sample box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Oh well – can’t get everything!

I got the Mambo Sprouts and Target mailer too (I think you are right about the registry). I also got my free Kashi bar in the mail today. Don’t you just love going to the mailbox and getting something besides bills! haha

Charlene, I also got the tiny Bisquick, a Nature Valley bar, a tiny box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch and a 25cent yoplait coupon. It was okay, but yours looks better. How many coupons did you get? I put the Fisher Price car in my son’s name, so he would get mail. He complains everyday when there is nothing for him. He looked at it and said, “this is a baby toy”. Guess I can’t win =)

  23. Charlene says

    10/06/2010 at 9:50 PM

Well dang Nicole! Doesn’t that kid know what a pain that freebie was for you to get 🙂 I got 4 coupons but I wasn’t very excited. There was a $1/2 Totinos Pizza roll and the $.75/3 Hamburger Helper which is always available. The cereal was Fiber One which my girls seem to have given to the dog- so I would trade you cereal for sure.

I didn’t get any of those…yet. But I did receive my free Cotonelle wipes coupon today and the $1 off Kandoo wipes, thanks to your site.
