Free Photobook from Picaboo is Back!

Ohhh this is exciting!  The free 20 page, hardcover photo book from Picaboo is back!!  You get the book for free ($40 value) and you will have to pay shipping of about $8-9.

Now this is an awesome deal because these books are really nice!  The only thing with Picaboo is that you need to download their software to create your book- but you will get so many different options for your design and cover.  These are my favorite books out there.

This offer runs from October 15-25 and is for new customers only.  If you ordered a Groupon for Picaboo- you can try stacking the code with your voucher.  This has worked for me but I don’t know if things changed this week.

You have until 10/25 to make your book.  You can get started by heading to Picaboo and using promo code: FALLBK at checkout.

So the Groupon I just bought said I can use it on the 20th. I just made my book, so on the 20th when I go to order my book, I type in FALLBK first and then my Groupon code? Is that right? (fingers crossed!) I’m really hoping this Groupon thing works out like it has for so many others!! Thanks!

Sheila- Yes exactly and then rush over and tell me what happens 🙂 I had no problems at all but they may have changed it. I meant to buy this one and then I got busy and it was gone.

Do the free book first and then you might try the codes I posted here:

I know the other free book code has expired but I am not sure about the other ones.

I had ALL kinds of problems ordering my free book. First of all, once I went through the entire process (which I thought was under a new account for my M-I L) it turns out once I created my entire book and tried the code, they said that it was only for new customers and somehow they “knew” that I had already created a book with them under my own email. I was just trying to do this for my mother -in-law, but I was using my own computer. So I thought, no big deal and tried to use the code pntg50—totally worked. Gave me $20 off and I was OK with it since I spent so much time on it for her. THEN when I tried to pay with my Groupon that I got from the DC deal…it was a no go. It just would sit there when I tried to apply it as a gift card. Then I tried using the groupon first and then the code. It came up with a sign that said: There are Gift Cards applied to your order that can’t be used with any other promotion.

Please remove them from the Gift Card payment list and add the promotion code again.
SO–if you did DC, I’m sorry to say this was a HUGE disappointment. I’m glad you missed out on it Charlene!! Turned out a bummer.

Hmm.. I am going to test this when I get a moment tonight because I bought a second voucher. I guess I still think even the worst case is a good deal. Maybe I am missing something but the worst case (no codes) looks like this:

Buy 2 hardcover 20 page books at $40 each
Assume shipping of $9 per book (might be less)
    Final Price: $98

Use Groupon for $100 to pay and probably have a little tax

So you paid $35 to have 2 very nice hardcover photobooks shipped or $17.50 each? I know some books are $10 or less with shipping and such but they are not nearly the quality so I guess you can skip this if that seems too high. Also, if you are unhappy with a purchase Groupon will probably refund your money. They are an excellent company.
