Regarding the TS3 DVD….Since the DVD does not come out until Tuesday, if I purchase the $25.00 worth of items on Sunday will they give me a $16.00 coupon for the DVD?
Ronni- Yup!
Doesn’t the total pre-coupons have to be $25 or more for the TS3 deal? I am getting $17.38.
Yes Ashley that is exactly right. I will let Tracie know and I will take a look myself in just a bit to see if I can come up with something.
Ok I added a new one. Funny I decided to stop doing my own drugstore matchups because of all the complaints about my mistakes every week and then here we go again 🙂
Charlene, I have been reading all the deals starting to come out on the Toy Story 3 movie. Which one do you think is the best deal you have seen so far? I pre-ordered this DVD back when the Beauty and the Best movie came out at Toys R Us. I’m waiting to see what kind of deal you post there before I make my purchase.
Well, I will get the Blu Ray because we have both a Blu ray and a DVD player and I like having 2 copies of the movies. So if you want the Blu Ray I am inclined to say TRU. I was a little lured away by Disney Store but then a reader pointed out her experience there was a hot mess. Plus you pay $4 more- so the coupon they supposedly give is only $6 if you factor that in. Plus you get some sort of clock at TRU and at Disney Store I have to drag my buns there 2 times (to preorder and to get it) so not worth $6 to me.
So here is my idea and I don’t think this will work but I figure what the heck:
TRU- movie is $29.99
Buy 2nd Movie at $19.99
Subtotal: $50
There seems to be an instant $10 gift card when you spend $40 or more on Disney Movies running. Now the Tinkerbell gift card deal was a mess because of their registers last time, so I will not hold my breath.
Get $5 off from your preorder deposit
Get $10 off a 2nd Disney movie
Get $8 off for TS 3
and I am considering trying to use the $3 off when you buy TS3 and another movie coupon from the booklet
So the best case seems to be $24 for both movies and the clock, and then the chance you get a $10 gift card. So potentially $14 for all. But that is better for me because I still have that TRU gift card from Tinkerbell.
But I really don’t know that will actually work. So if it turns into a disaster, I will just go to CVS. We need paper towels actually. I would probably buy 4 paper towels at $27.88 and use $2 in coupons plus I have a $4/20 coupon. That is still $25 oop for everything but I have some ECBs anyway and then I don’t have to worry about paper towels for months.
FYI,
That coupon you get for signing up (4/20) isn’t working anymore. Signed up for CVS and have got coupons but not for the 4/20 and my wife tried and nothing.
Hey Kyle- it is actually featured in this week’s ad. You might call CVS- customer service is wonderful. Is there any chance it hit your spam folder? This week it is on page 4 with all the candy.
I just fired off an email to the customer service email addy. I only got a welcome email…I searched all folders. I made sure and told them the coupon offer has been in almost every weekly flyer and I signed up on 10/08 and haven’t got anything yet. Hopefully it will get sorted.
My total at CVS was $59 and some change. After coupons I paid $5.00! The paper was great this week with that $20 off Bayer USB, Free OneTouch Delica Lancing Device, and an Oral-B Toothbrush $3.00 off. The coupons made them all free after ECB!
I went to CVS on 10/30:
4 cans of Progresso Lentil soup 0.99 each
2 Oral B cross action toothbrushes 4.99 each
1 Milkway fun pack 0.77
1 nail filer 0.37 (I needed about 0.30 to make 15.00)
I used (1) 3/15 CVS coupon, 1 Progresso soup off of 4 cans, Buy 1 Get 1 Free cross action toothbrushes (coupon said free up to 3.99) the cashier took 4.99 off. (this one expired on 10/31 from 9/26 P&G)
Total: 6.09 with 0.58 tax = 6.67 and I got 4.00 back for the toothbrushes.
Then on 10/31:
5 Dawn Hand Renwal 0.97 each
2 Regular Dawn 0.97 each
6 Puffs 0.97 each
1 Bounty 6.97
1 Always pads 5.97
Used:
(1) 3/15 CVS
(3) 1.00 Hand Renewal from Home Made Simple
(1) 0.50 off of one Dawn Hand Renewal (from P&G 9/26 or 10/10 cannot remember)
(1) 1.00 off of 2 Dawn Hand Renewal (from P&G 9/26 or 10/10 cannot remember)
(2) 0.25 off of Dawn (Home Made Simple)
(1) 1.00 off of 6 single Puffs (from P&G 9/26 expired 10/31)
(1) 1.00 off Bounty (from P&G 9/26 expired 10/31)
(1) 2.00 off of Always (from P&G 9/26 or 10/10 cannot remember)
3.00 Extra Bucks from Clear Care (from 2 weeks ago)
4.00 Extra Bucks from Oral B toothbrushes
6.55 plus 1.58 = 8.13 plus the 16.00 to use towards Toy Story 3.
There also was some great deals with the 25.00 using Pantene and toothpaste.
Hi Charlene. Just wondered it you tried the TRS deal yet. I an going to try it tomorrow, But just wondered if anyone had attempted it yet!! Thanks!
Janelle I am going to do the TRU deal I think. If it goes wonky I’ll do cvs but I’d rather have the blu ray I think.
Im with you. I happen to get the cvs deal today for the fact my mom was there and got the coupon. She tries to coupon but just needed toilet paper. So she bought enough for me to get it. But i think i will also get the blue ray too….
Charlene! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your match-ups!!! I hope you will reconsider doing them again! If not, I understand. I am a momma to FIVE little blessings, and I know how much work goes into motherhood.
