CVS: $5 off Halloween Items

It looks like some lucky people are getting $5 off any Halloween decor, costumes or accessories at the coupon scanner this week.

If you get lucky and score this coupon, I’d love to know what deals you find!  Too bad it isn’t for candy- but at the very least you should be able to get some fun decorations or trick or treat bags or something!

I wanted to give you a heads up because the coupon will either expire the same day you get it or the following day- so not much time to use it!

I did get this coupon (sacramento, ca area). I used it to buy two 40 packs of treat sacks and three packages of halloween temporary tatoos. The cashier had to force the coupon but they said that what I bought should have been included. : )

I used it for a 20 pack of 4-to-a-box temporary tattoos. I figure I’ll give them out at Halloween. It was $3.99 and they checker insisted I couldn’t use the coupon, but I pushed him until I won 🙂 The coupon after all said, “up to $5” and he insisted it had to be over $5.

we bought the pumpkin decorating kit. it’s like mr. potato head pieces for a pumpkin. my kids are 4 and 2 so this looks like a safer way for them to decorate pumpkins. it was $4.99 and i had no problem using the $5 off coupon.

I received two of these this week. I found some cute Hallmark sticker activity cards for my kids to put together and mail off to grandparents & cousins. I couldn’t find the soft-soap dispensers at my store.

I got one on Monday and another on Thursday. Both times I got really cute Halloween socks which were $2.50 each. So I got 2 FREE and my daughter got 2 FREE. Monday it bumped my total order just over $40 and I was able to use a $5/$40 coupon I got in my email so it was even better! = )
