Toys R Us $5/25 Coupon

This post may contain affiliate links, please see my disclosure policy.

There is a $5/25 Toys R Us coupon available that is valid through 9/26.  The coupon has a few exclusions like fancy strollers and diapers- otherwise you should* be able to use this on anything.  Here is an idea:

Buy Tinkerbell and the Great Fairy Rescue Blu Ray Combo (projected price $24.99- could be $29.99 worst case)
Use $5/25 Toys R Us coupon
and Use $10/1 Tinkerbell printable
Final Price: $9.99-$14.99 depending on the TRU release price
(Stay tuned for another idea for TRU)

Thanks Caitlin!

*NOTE:  Some Toys R Us stores are a nightmare about using coupons and some are just wonderful.  The TRU coupon does not exclude any movies so this should be OK to use but you luck will vary from store to store.

    Toys R Us is a little strict with their coupons.
    When you use the $5 off $25 coupon, it will expect your purchase to not be less than $25. Meaning that if you use the $10 off Tinker Bell it will drop the total to about $19.99 and it will thus reject the $5 off $25.

    This is just a heads up.

    Great coupon, nonetheless. Toys R Us rarely releases a coupon like that online! ^^ Thanks Charlene!

    Found this deal on Slickdeals. Pretty sweet if you ask me!

    * Head to a Toys R Us store (before 9/21) and pay a $10 deposit to Pre-Order the Tinker Bell Great Fairy Rescue Blu-Ray Combo Pack using the pre-order card found in-store (photo here

    ….Then go back a 2nd time to:

    * Pickup Tinker Bell movie (9/21-9/26 only), will owe $19.99
    * In the same transaction pre-order Beauty and the Beast Diamond Edition Blu-ray/DVD for $5 deposit
    * Find an inexpensive filler item (gum or candy for $0.01+) to get your pre-tax total over $25 (I’m not sure?)
    * Use the Toys R Us $5/$25 coupon [imageg.net]
    * Use the Disney $10 off Tinker Bell Rescue coupon [go.com]
    * Receive $10 off for pre-ordering Beauty and the Beast (details here
    * Pay for your $0.99 filler item + tax
    * Receive $10 Gift Card back because you pre-ordered the Tinker Bell movie (details here
    * Final cost = $0.99 (your filler item) + tax

    …then you can take your $10 gift card back a few weeks later when you pickup Beauty and the Beast and do this deal:

    * Pick-up your reserved copy of Beauty and the Beast for your remaining balance of $24.99
    * Use the $10 off Disney coupon for Beauty and the Beast
    * Use the $10 Toys R Us gift card you received from your Tinker Bell movie purchase above
    * Pay $4.99 + tax

    Total out of pocket for 2 Disney Blu-rays and some candy is approximately $14.99 + tax
