I just wanted to point out two great coupons that are still available- the coupon for a free bag of Giada coffee when you buy 3 food items is still available. They have pasta starting at $1.98, salad dressings or pesto for $2.99. Personally, I thought this was a good deal especially if you regularly buy bagged coffee at $5 or $6 a pop. Reader Sara pointed out that the pasta is a 1lb box so it is bigger than you normally get.
I bought a sundried tomato spread and 2 pesto several weeks ago and got the coffee for free. I eat pesto and mozzarella paninis all the time and I usually pay $2-2.50 per jar so this worked out well for me.
(I will put a recipe for a great appetizer with the sun dried tomato and pesto for the holidays in the comments area as well.)
Also, I went to check out the rugs Target has on sale this week and found quite a few on clearance. There is still a $10 off Mohawk rugs Target coupon available. I found several rugs that are $7 or less after coupon on clearance. The Mohawk ones I found were not especially attractive- but if you want something simple and functional for the garage, mud room or laundry room- these are perfect. I actually found a green one for $13 for our laundry room- so just $3 after coupon!
(Note: It is very easy to mistake the Mohawk and Target Home rugs because they look almost identical. Make sure you grab the right brand because the Target Home ones were on clearance as well.)

Here is the recipe I mentioned- it is from Taste of Home Oct/Nov page 47.
Beat 8oz cream cheese and 1/2 cup butter until smooth, combine 3oz jar of pesto (the Giada one is 6.35oz)and 1/4 cup of parm cheese. Layer half of cream cheese mix, pesto mix and 1/4 cup sun dried tomato into a 3 cup plastic wrap lined bowl. (I think you can use the Giada sun dried tomato spread here instead-it is pretty thick.) Repeat layers. Chill and serve with pita chips.
YUMMMMMMMMM!!! Thanks for the recipe!!! I am obsessed with pesto!
Amy- Giada’s has a lot more pine nuts than jar pesto usually has which is nice. I found it a teensy sweet. I think I will go back to Classico because it is saltier. But I think this recipe is going to be perfect for the holidays and the extra parm cheese will be really good.
Can you also add how you make the pesto and mozzarella panini? Do you use a panini maker? It sounds delish!!
