Target Clearance Update

Reader Heather let me know that my Target was indeed at 75% off for school supplies today so I ran over to check it out.  I had to race through the store but I managed to find a few great deals.

The plain Tops notebooks were priced at .03 each!  If you find this price as well I would suggest grabbing a stack and dropping them off for your child’s teacher!  I saw a teacher at my store that literally purchased 3 boxes and there were tons left for others.

The fancier sprial notebooks with the graphic covers were .12.  I actually use these as coloring books for the girls- so I grabbed a few to put away.

There were backpacks and lunchbags on clearance for .75% off- I got the Dora lunchbag for $1.24.  My thought was that it is actually cheaper than a gift bag would cost and more practical.  So that is going to be put away to put a holiday gift in.

The 2 packs of scissors were .35 and single packs were .20.

Then I also got lucky and found this Leapfrog Tag collection of 5 soft cover books marked down to $9.98.  I wasn’t sure if the $4 off a $9 Tag Book coupon would work- but it did!  I think the collection of books might be pushing it for the coupon- but even at $9.99- I thought it was a good deal.

As a side note, the Dora lunchbox has coupons inside for all sorts of things.  Reader Tara scored 75% off Thermos items and found coupon books tucked inside as well.

They did have the nicer zippered binders on sale- if you need a coupon binder you might check it out!  They were $4.98 at my store.

***Remember clearance will vary considerably from store to store.  You might want to call your store and check to see what the discount is before you head out.

As always, I love your blog! We live in Ohio and due to funding cuts, my little girls preschool class has not had a lot of paper on supply. I just bought 100 notebooks, 25 packets of filler paper, 4 containers of elmer glue, and 20 packs of drawing paper for less than $15. I am going to be the best Mommy on Monday!

The bedding also went 75% off. I found a full size pink bed in bag for $19.99 for Christmas. Swim stuff is also 75% off goggles for 1.98.
