On page 5 of my online ad in Fresno, Calif. there is a special running for spend $10 in participating products get $4 coupon for your next shopping order. The best deal I saw for this was for the Van de camps fish fillets 2$/8 and use the BOGO smartsource coupon for buy one van de camps and get birds eye, steamfresh vegetable free. The bird’s eye and steam fresh are also on sale for 2/$4. So I was thinking of buying
2 Van de camps = $8
2 Birds eye = $4
total = $12
minus BOGO for steamfresh or bird’s eye $4
Grand total $8 plus a $4 coupon for my next shopping order so really all this for $4!!
Hope these BOGO coupons work on this promotion. I called to see if they had the Duncan Hines amazing Glazes, because Duncan Hines products are also part of this promotion and if they had it, it would have made for a sweet deal for cake mix and frosting using the $1 smartsource coupon for Amazing Glazes and a box of cake mix.
I was not happy with Save Mart, and like the rookie I am, planned my menu on Monday and went today, not realizing ads changed this morning. So put on the spot, I panicked. I did ok but came out over budget by $30 due to the lack of sales and my inability to change my menu drastically. I guess the ease and impromptu change-ups will come with time.
I did however enjoy an unadvertised $5/5 BirdsEye Steamfresh Frozen Veggies, and when you spent $10 on participating items (I don’t know what that is other than this product), you get a $4 catalina for your next purchase. I love those things, so when you factor in the $4 for next time, .60 is pretty great when they usually run upwards of $2. And there is a $5 off $50 coupon on the SaveMart coupon page, which helps for sure!
