Josie says
If you need to stock up on diapers:
Buy 2 Pampers
Use $1/1 Pampers coupons
Use $5/25 coupon
You will get the $10 PG UP Reward + $5 UP Reward. and pretty much pay $8.99 for each! = ) You can also use $39 towards the PG Rebate Book.
Christy says
On this deal did you mean Crest instead of Colgate? “Colgate Toothpaste, Scope, Oral B Stages or Advantage Plus toothbrush $2.49”
Charlene says
Yes Christy exactly right- Crest not Colgate.
Melissa says
Josie, I DO need diapers, but do you think you’d get TWO $5 UP rewards–one for each box of diapers? Or is there a limit of one, I wonder? Anybody know how to tell? I’ve received multiples ones before, but don’t want to count on it. Thanks!
Josie says
@Melissa, I have yet to try this deal but even if you don’t get two $5 UP’s this is a great deal, I wouldn’t count on the two though 🙂
Charlene says
Melissa,
I think Rite Aid has the megas on sale. If that is the case, it is more expensive to buy them from RA than it would be to have them delivered to your house free from Amazon.
If it is the Megas, I just took size 3 as a sample- those should have 60 diapers for Baby Dry which is .149 a diaper after $10 and $5 +Up, 2 Pampers coupons and the $5/25 coupon.
If you buy from Amazon the case of 204 Baby Dry diapers is $28 or .137 each with free 2 day shipping. The 144 ct case is .159 per diaper if you don’t need as big of a box. You can also submit your receipt for the P&G coupon book.
So up to you which is more convenient. Personally I am not a fan of having to try and come up with ways to roll rewards and such so I like to find the easiest option.
Also at Rite Aid you will pay $32.98 out of pocket plus tax on $40. You will get back $10, plus $5 to roll on other items. At Amazon you don’t pay tax in 45 states and you pay $28 out of pocket for the huge box with almost double the amount.
So you might just double check my math for the size you need.
Sarah says
Thank you so much Charlene for this info. I hate rolling deals too (Up rewards don’t count if you don’t use them), so I am going to look into this option. Thanks again.
Melissa says
Wow! Thanks for looking out for me and for the very detailed answer. I do have one other question about diapers… I have several Pampers points and could buy several diapers.com $3 credits. Can I use more than one of those per purchase? For example, could I buy 4 $3 credits and use them all, saving $12 off a single purchase? Thanks again!
Charlene says
Melissa, I did try that myself and what happened is that their system only let me put one in. So I had to call and they sorted it out. That was a little extra bit of hassle but the Mega packs are priced at $17.49 from them- so already $2.50 cheaper than RA.
Lori says
How about BEING PAID $0.31 for 2 large boxes of diapers, plus a bunch of other stuff?
When I first looked at the Rite Aid ads, I thought there would be nothing here that I would like this week. Then I started reading what people were posting on the J&J and P&G $30 sales. Then I started reading how people were getting multiple UPs for Pampers and Reach toothbrushes.
The Pampers qualifies for the PG coupon book rebate, and the toothbrushes and listerine qualify for the Rite Aid Oral Care rebate.
The Pampers is supposed to be marked at $19.99 for this sale, but for some reason the computer automatically discounted them to $17.99.
The computer also automatically discounted the newspapers by 10% because of my Wellness card. Something important to remember! (Maybe the Pampers is normally priced at $19.99, and the computer took a 10% discount off due to the Wellness card?)

Charlene says
Wow that gives me a headache to think about Lori but what a great job! I am just amazed at the super complicated scenarios that some of you guys come up with. Do you find it a hassle to try and figure out a way to roll the $20 in +Up you have left? For some reason I just can’t get into RA. I have no problem at CVS but RA just seems like so much work.
Lori says
Honestly, I steal ideas from here and one other website, and piece it together that way. If I had to do it from scratch, I would not have gone to Rite Aid this week.
I am reading that the baby products UPs are unlimited (at least up to 6, when I last checked). I received 3 UPs on the reach toothbrushes, but someone else bought 2 listerine packs and 2 toothbrushes and received 4 UPs, so that may be by product. I have heard the $10/30 is one per household. There are reports of some people paying $15 on the diapers, which would be a 20% discount, so that is the standard wellness card discount on a non-sale item.
(As I tell my family and friends – this sort of stuff has just enough detail to satisfy my OCD, without it completely taking over my life!)
Nicole says
Charlene, Did you get the Tylenol Precise coupon in today’s Sacramento Bee? I am going crazy looking for it. Thanks!
Mindy says
I did your scenario for the $10 on $30 J&J. I did not get the $10 UPreward. Anyone else have this issue?
Thanks
Charlene says
No I did not get my Bee at all. Irritating. They won’t deliver until tomorrow. Check the RP too but it was listed as SS in the coupon preview.
Charlene says
Mindy- last week the same thing happened with a different reward. You might want to call customer service and complain- last week they mailed people the +Up Rewards. Just be sure to add up the precoupon totals to be sure it was $30.
Nicole says
I got four inserts, and have looked thru them three times. Bummer! Oh well, I still have the CVS deal to do this week. I’ll just be happy with that =)
Lori says
Mindy – I’ve been hearing some people not getting the UP on both the PG and the JJ deals if they purchase the wrong toothbrushes. The Reach needs to be the Reach Total Care.
Mindy says
Lori and Charlene- Thanks for the feedback. I did get Total Care but they are Total Care Whitening – not sure if that will exclude me from the deal. I will call at naptime and let you know the outcome. Also, I did not get the +UP on M&M bagged candy. I shopped at a store I don’t usually go to so maybe it is an issue at this store?!
sheila says
Nicole-the tylenol precise was hard for me to find because it looks so different from what I was expecting (but it was on the back cover of mine). But the product is mostly black and does not have the characteristic red Tylenol label.
On another note, I loooove shopping at Rite Aid. If there was one closer I’d be there twice a week. I do a little spreadsheet to figure out the cost of everything. It is a little more work than other stores because there are so many moving parts, and I’m always a little nervous when I go to a RA that isn’t my normal, coupon friendly RA. But I have only had one problems with a cashier not accepting a store coupon and a MC and a VV. But I’m totally hooked on RA.
Suki says
FYI:
For those doing the J&J Baby products. there are A LOT of printable coupons on there website and other brick sites. <3
Mindy says
I called RA and (as you have always said) their customer service was super-friendly. The $10 +UP that did not print for the J&J purchase and the $1 +UP for M&M’s will be mailed to me. Thanks for that great deal!!
Kristin says
There was a $2/1 Noxema razor from 05/23 which would make the razor free!! Not sure if it is RP or SS.
katie says
Thanks for the p&g deal! I did it today and it worked great! The $10 up didn’t print, but the manager just gave me a $10 gift card instead. Also multiples of the other up rewards printed so i actually ended up with 9 up rewards and a 10.00 gift card! Aaaaannnnddd… i had paid with a gift card and previous up rewards so i actually paid nothing out of pocket! This may have been my most successful trip yet!!! Thank you!
Maurine says
I don’t think it’s hard to roll the ups at all! There is always SOMETHING I need that is a great deal at rite aid. I’ll always need lotion, shampoo, toothpaste, makeup, chap stick…and for the foreseeable future, diapers. Rite Aid has become my very favorite store!
judy says
can some one explain to me how does rite aid video value work
Charlene says
Judy- you can read about them here:

You can also click on drugstore 101 at the top of the blog to read more about Rite Aid programs.
jenny says
Question: When using so many coupons on the P&G deal, it looks like it drops your total below $30…do you still get the UP rewards? I tried this on some Gillette razors a couple weeks back and because I had coupons, it brought my purchase on the Gillette products below the required $30 mark and the UP reward ($!0!) did not print. I had to make 2 returns and figure out an additional item to add to my purchase in order to make the total hit the $30 to get the $10 UP reward. I’m concerned the same thing will happen with this P&G deal…
Michelle says
Do you have to spend the $30 in a single transaction for both the P$G and Johnson and Johnson deals?
Charlene says
Jenny yes and no. Yes you should get the +Up on a precoupon total. The last few deals like this RA has not produced the +Up for whatever reason and people have had to call. RA customer service has been mailing the rewards- so there is that chance you have to do the extra step if they don’t have their computers fixed by next week. You probably could have done that with the Gillette a few weeks ago but it sounds like you got that sorted out.
