Wow THREE freebies this week from Raley’s!  This week you can get a free Dr Pepper, a dozen eggs and Martha White Muffin Mix for free with coupon and a $10 purchase.  I think it is actually a great week- I plan to get a few of the BOGO Focaccia this week for sure.

You can head over here to get the new Raleys coupons.  Be sure to read the dates carefully!  Some are the entire week and some just the weekend.

Head over here to see the list of Raleys deals this week.

I’m jealous of you Raley’s Shoppers!

I know what a great week! 3 freebies and you only have to spend $10. I’m starting to like shopping there a lot though… I love not having to unload my cart and the checkers actually have a personality and are paying attention to you and what they are doing… Can’t say the same for the Safeway checkers in my area…

Wonder if I can use the B1G1 Free egg coupon with the Raleys free egg coupon to get both eggs free?

Does anyone know if the soda coupon can be used for Diet Dr. Pepper?

I totally agree Stephanie! They are the market leader by far which really surprised me. I try to shop there weekly even though I don’t need too. They have a play area for the kids, nice cashiers, they seem to bend over backwards for coupons, and the nice race car carts which thrill my girls. It is just such a pleasant experience compared to Safeway. Plus last weekend they had some lady making ice cream cones while you shopped. My girls shared a cone and I didn’t hear one peep for 20 minutes!

I find at safeway when I pull out coupons I can feel the eyes rolling from the cashier and tension. At Raley’s it is more like- oh cool let’s get these in for you. Just a huge difference overall.

I love Raleys! Their employees are always so friendly which to me speaks volumes to their corporate values.

Jen L, yes, the coupon worked for Diet Dr. Pepper last week.

@Debby – I am gonna try the egg scenario you are talking about, we’ll see how it works! I bet it does ’cause Raley’s is great about coupons!
@Jen L – I have noticed that Raley’s, like Charlene said, is very good about coupons. They are usually pretty flexible so I bet they will honor Diet Dr Pepper even if the coupon might only say regular Dr Pepper.

I’m totally excited about all the freebie and even though its still warm here in the Sacramento area I have started doing a lot of fall baking and filling up my deep freeze so I am really excited about the prospect of a lot of free eggs!!!

I also like that the Raley’s stores have self check out, so really people who are waiting in line shouldn’t mind waiting, they have other options. I know before couponing I used to always use the self check out at Raleys.

I also used the Dr. Pepper coupon to get Diet Dr. Pepper, no problemo.

@ Tiffany – Lots of free eggs? Can you print multiples of the coupon? And use it and make several seperate $10 purchases? Or how does that work?

Can you get $10 worth of items and then use all 3 “Free” coupons? Each coupon says “cannot be comnined”. Anyone know?

AD- I have many times combined the coupons. The only word of caution I have is that I really don’t want to encourage taking advantage of them. Not to say that you would, but I think often people get excited about saving every penny and then programs like this get taken away 🙂 So if you go in and spend $10 and then use all 3 coupons, you should be fine. I wouldn’t encourage people to buy the three free items-which are probably $6 or so- then buy 2 things with coupons and use the 3 free item coupons and walk out $.99 later. Does that make sense? I find the milk to be priced the best at Raleys anyway- so I usually get a few gallons of milk and other deals from the ad and it works out really well.

I think I am the exception but I am less than impressed by Raley’s lately. They’re marketing department seems to be pretty smart for jacking up the price for high value coupon items (like the chicken last week) and offering alluring coupons for free items, then having such a small quantity of the free item that everyone ends up getting rainchecks. So they’re bringing people in to get the sales and hoping people don’t cash in the rainchecks. Seems like a sketchy practice to me. If they really were all about customer service, I’d think they’d have plenty of they’re “free item” invetory in stock.

Yes that is one issue Courtney with inventory. Last time they gave me an item 3x the cost though so I am happy enough 🙂 I just know I can’t shop on Sunday. But I use the rainchecks the next week when I am getting my next free item so it isn’t as much of a pain. The same argument could be said for Walgreens. I don’t even know why I bother shopping there beyond 1 hour after they open on Sunday. Everything is out.

Wierd, where’d the Dr. Pepper coupon go? Its not showing up on my ecoupons for me.

Sahara they took it away! I know it was there and now I don’t see it either. Well now we know to print our coupons on Wed I suppose.

Anyone try to use both the B1G1 Free egg coupon AND the freebie egg coupon in the same transaction? I tried, but I couldn’t get the logic through the manager’s head that I was buying one and getting one free and then the one I was ‘buying’ I then had a freebie coupon for (in my opinion no different then if I had a $1.00 coupon for the one I buying). Then I also thought I would try to use a $0.35/1 Martha White muffin mix mfr coupon and the Raley’s freebie coupon as well, but he claimed it was ‘double’ couponing even though one was a store coupon and the other a mfr coupon. I know it was a stretch, but I thought I would try. I was not in an arguing mood so I just took my two freebies and was satisfied enough …. no use being ultra greedy I suppose. I have honestly never seen a coupon policy for Raley’s. Is there one? Am I being unethical or being totally off base for trying to use all those coupons? Because I have no intention of doing so. 🙂

I don’t think it was unethical- but it just feels wrong to many people and that is your problem. It doesn’t help that the coupon is wonky to begin with- if it was from a newspaper that might have made it easier.
    The “coupon policy” is here:

I didn’t even bother with that because eggs were $1 at Target last week. I just used it there. I figured $1 for 2 dozen eggs was easier than the hassle you experienced. I bet if you went back to a different person it would go fine. The first dozen is free courtesy of the manufacturer. The second dozen is free courtesy of Raleys. Nothing sneaky at all- just a tricky deal.
