I just did this deal and it worked.
i also got a $1.00 off TGIF Skillet Meals in the Coupon Book at Safeway. There are a lot of cheese and frozen item coupons in it.
oops, i rechecked the TGIF Skillet Meals coupons and they were in Sunday’s paper (last week) so if you got extra papers you can get a great deal on these.
At my Raley’s, over by the cream cheese, if you buy 5 items, you get a FREE Philadelphia cream cheese cook book. The book is actually really nice.
To make the TGIF meals deal even better there is also a catalina printing for $1 when you buy 2. So the math looks like this:
Buy 2 TGIF Skillet meals for 5.99 = 11.98
Use Raleys coupon -4.00
Use 2 2.00 from 9/26 SS -4.00
Catalina for 1.00 off future purchase, -1.00
=2.98/2 or 1.49 each!!!
A great deal for a complete meal for 2!
FYI my store had 4 different varieties, Chicken Alfredo with Broccoli, Creamy Chicken Carbonara, Chicken Fajitas and steak fajitas (and the fajitas even included 6 tortillas)
Thanks laura- another reader posted that and I did it too! Those are direct cheap to put in the freezer for quick meals.
