Raley’s released a new coupon that is valid Saturday and Sunday only for $10 off a $50 purchase.
This can actually work out to be a great deal because it is $50 precoupon. The 4 free cupcakes this week will get you at least $5 of the way there!

I just got back from Raley’s and they refused to take my $10 coupon because they said I could not combine it with other coupons. I called the store back to speak with the manager and had a 15 minute conversation where he defended the store’s position. I pulled up both the cupcake coupon and $10 off coupon and said the wording was the same and asked what the store policy was. He said he would check with corporate and get back to me. The issue is the cupcake coupon says the same thing as the $10 coupon … “Cannot be combined with other coupons or offers.” However, the checker took that coupon and scanned all my other coupons successfully. Sorry for the long post. I will keep you posted on the outcome.
And, my precoupon total was $55.45. 🙂
Poop on them! I never have issues but then again I almost always use the self scan. You can always tweet or post on the Facebook page too because I can see the argument against the cupcakes but most certainly not on other MQ. I am finding social media to be a more direct way to reach someone that can help you and to get someone to help.

Update: the manager called back and apologized. For some reason their store has problems with the coupons scanning and assumed that meant that they were not to be combined. They will refund me the $10. Before your blog I would not have even thought of speaking to the manager to clarify coupon policy. Thank you for all you do! 🙂
