I seriously have my fingers crossed that we see some great Labor Day sales and post Labor Day sales from the home improvement stores. We are hoping to finish up some home projects and finally score a new washing machine and dryer.
One deal Lowe’s is offering is a $5/20 rebate on paint or stain. We have taken advantage of these rebates many times and how it works is the rebate will just print right on your receipt. You can submit them right online and they tend to come in about 6 weeks or so.
If I remember it is a little postcard and you can take them right to the bank and cash them. The rebate runs through 9/8.
Don’t forget you can get the 10% off coupon from Home Depot as well! Most Lowe’s stores will accept competitor’s coupons- just call ahead to yours and you can save a little more on all your projects!

I found that lowes also has a 10% off coupon at the Lowes moving website: http://www.lowes.com/cd_Lowes+Moving+Center_509684072_?newSearch=true&ddkey=http:SearchCatalogDisplay
Happy Shopping
According to the rebate form online at Lowe’s, the paint had to have been bought between 8/25 and 8/31. So I guess this deal is over???
No Tina i think they have another that is running this weekend. Let me check in just a few minutes.
Ok I called customer service just to be totally sure. The front page of the web site says through 9/8 and then the rebate form you click on says ends 8/31 and mail it in by 9/30- so neither matches.
Anyway- they directed me to the correct rebate forms which are valid 9/1-9/6. She said they are probably good through 9/8 when they print on the receipt but I would go before the 6th just in case.
Here is one of the rebates:

There are others. Just go to rebate center at the bottom right side on the Lowes.com home page. Click on manufacturer rebate and then enter today’s date. You should see a bunch for all the brands.
