If you happen to be in the market for one of these, my tip is to check how much the refills are. I stopped using my diaper pail because the refills were so outrageously expensive.
A good diaper pail to try is the Diaper Champ because you can use any plastic bag (I always used grocery bags). I see used ones at garage sales all the time for next to nothing.
If you aren’t using your diaper pail anymore, what do you do with your dirty diapers? We are using the diaper genie, but when the refills I have stocked up before the baby arrived are gone…I might not want to purchase anymore as the price of them went up considerable since he was born.
Brandette, I don’t use anything 🙂 We put wet diapers in the trash and that is usually emptied every other day. Then if there is a #2 I just walk out to the trash out front. Or if I have a crazy house I just put it in a grocery store bag- I save them in a little ball under the sink- and then leave it on the porch. Once the kids are under control I can walk it to the trash. Mine are older though so we only have maybe 5 dirties a day and it is no biggie to just walk it outside. I hated emptying that diaper pail anyway.
