Sam’s Club 15 weeks for $15

09/30/2010

Share

Sam’s Club is offering a 15 week membership for $15.  This runs from September 29-October 10.

I want to say an entire year at Sam’s is $30- so I think this is a good deal if you just want to do some holiday shopping but it might not be that great otherwise.

More Cheap Halloween Costumes

09/30/2010

Share

Here is one other online costume place to check out for reasonably priced costumes.  You can just click on baby, kid or adult and then check the clearance section.  I also sorted by price.

This little princess witch costume is $9.99 which is a pretty good price.

They have kids costumes starting at $4.99 and shipping for me was $4.95.  You can also use code: qvc-10 for an extra 10% off your order OR TREAT20 for an extra 20% off!  (thanks Rachel). You probably need to order soon to get costumes in time for Halloween.

The guy in front of me at Target last night spent $75 on 3 costumes and I nearly fainted- so I will keep looking for any sort of deals I can find!

The sample is gone but you might still be able to get a $1.50 coupon.

You can score a free sample of Starbucks Natural Fusions vanilla flavored coffee if you hurry.  I don’t drink flavored coffees but this might be nice for any guests you might have this holiday season.

I just wanted to point out two great coupons that are still available- the coupon for a free bag of Giada coffee when you buy 3 food items is still available.  They have pasta starting at $1.98, salad dressings or pesto for $2.99.  Personally, I thought this was a good deal especially if you regularly buy bagged coffee at $5 or $6 a pop.  Reader Sara pointed out that the pasta is a 1lb box so it is bigger than you normally get.

I bought a sundried tomato spread and 2 pesto several weeks ago and got the coffee for free.  I eat pesto and mozzarella paninis all the time and I usually pay $2-2.50 per jar so this worked out well for me.

(I will put a recipe for a great appetizer with the sun dried tomato and pesto for the holidays in the comments area as well.)

Also, I went to check out the rugs Target has on sale this week and found quite a few on clearance.  There is still a $10 off Mohawk rugs Target coupon available.  I found several rugs that are $7 or less after coupon on clearance.  The Mohawk ones I found were not especially attractive- but if you want something simple and functional for the garage, mud room or laundry room- these are perfect.  I actually found a green one for $13 for our laundry room- so just $3 after coupon!

(Note: It is very easy to mistake the Mohawk and Target Home rugs because they look almost identical.  Make sure you grab the right brand because the Target Home ones were on clearance as well.)

Free Shutterfly Card is Back!

09/30/2010

Share

Yeah!  There is another free code available for a greeting card from Shutterfly.  These are such cute cards and you can choose to have them sent to you or to your recipient directly.

You do have to pay shipping and taxes so your total should be about $1.  That is still a fantastic price for a nice greeting card since they will set you back a few bucks at any store.

The ones pictured I made the last time around with my girls in their homage to the Real Housewives of NJ jammies.

Shutterfly has some fantastic holiday designs or you can make one for just about any event you have coming up.

To get this offer just head over to Shutterfly and create your 5×7 card.  Then enter code: CARD4U at checkout.  You should just have the .99 shipping + a few cents tax.

Thanks Surviving the Stores!

You might get lucky and score free tickets to see Life As We Know It. There are a bunch of cities included and some have screenings tonight- in my area it is for Saturday night.

It looks like several cities are already sold out but maybe you will still get lucky.

This is kind of random, but I noticed National Geographic is priced at $15 for a one year subscription on Amazon right now.

I had a bunch of inquiries about deals on these subscriptions awhile back and I remember being shocked at how expensive it was.

According to Amazon, one year is normally $71 so if you have had your eye on this, I would grab it now!

Plus think how clever you will look with this on the coffee table for your holiday parties!  (Just be sure to hide the Cosmo and Soap Opera Digest.)
