Through September 1st, Home Depot is offering 10% off Energy Star appliances priced at $398 or higher.
We actually bought our appliances when Lowe’s had a similar sale a few weeks ago and I thought it was a pretty decent deal.
Don’t forget there is still a 10% off Home Depot coupon. We were able to use the coupon at Lowe’s when we bought our appliances. If you are in the market for some new items, you might want to check this sale out. (Please be sure to call ahead and confirm they will honor the coupon on appliances. I don’t see an exclusion on the coupon anywhere but you just never know.)
We happen to prefer Lowe’s and often times they will price match a competitor’s ad- you might call your store and see if they will offer the same deal.
Also, don’t forget the appliance rebate I posted way back here. I believe many states have run out of funds already but if you can also get a rebate it would be a pretty great deal.

I bought several appliances recently with this same “deal” on mind. They would not take the 10% off coupon with the 10% off energy star appliances. However, it did work on the accessories (dryer vent, w/d stands, etc) but I just wanted to send out the fyi to double check
Yes absolutely- it seems like a lot of people have really nasty stores to deal with. I know my Home Depot is dreadful but not my Lowe’s. I will change that point to bold type just to be sure.
