Any other great deals I missed this week?

It looks to me like there are 2 coupons in the August Walgreens book that could be combined w/ deals – $1 off 2 Ziploc & $2 off Kotex or U by Kotex. (I don’t have the Walgreens circular, so not sure if there are size restrictions that prevent these from working?)

I don’t think you get a RR. There is a $2 IVC in the monthly book.

I thought I saw a dove deal and there’s a $1 coupon online
Kathleen says
Wouldn’t the razor be .99?

The Kotex deal: The coupon in the wag book doesn’t say $2 off 2 so does that mean you get $2 off each box? In that case, wouldn’t it be 2/$7-$4 (2 coupons from book)-2 $1 from 8/1 or printable=$1 for both boxes? Let me know if that’s right.
The ziploc deal: My add doesn’t say extra reward bucks back. What is says is 2/$5- $1 coupon= 2/$4. So its an automatic deal from the Wag book not a RR. Thats in my ad anyways.

Just at Walgreens this morning. The $2 coupon for U by Kotex in the Walgreens coupon book comes off EACH box you buy. I bought 2 boxes and $4.00 was deducted. Combine that with (2) $1 off coupons and you get 2 boxes for a buck!

Hey! I wanted to let you know that there is a bonus deal on the Schick Hydro razors. I went into my Walgreens and there were coupons on all the the Schick Hydro razors. It was buy the razor and get the Schick Hydro shaving gel for free! So it was $7.99-$5 coupon-$2 RR=$.99 plus a free saving gel! I love coming across these little extra deals!!

So I went to Walgreens just now to get the Ziploc bags using the August coupon book coupon and the Right at home coupon ($1.50/2) yet when they scanned the $1.50/2 coupon it beeped and wouldn’t go through. This aso happened a few weeks ago when I bought Dr Schols with a coupon book and manufacturer coupon. In the end they put it through manually.
Anyone know the policy and why it is not going through just by scanning? Shall I just contact Walgreens? It does say on the coupon in the book that they are manufacturer coupons.

Went to Walgreens last night and was told they are no longer accepting internet coupons. THey also had a limit of 1 per day on the Dial body wash. I know they won’t let you use more coupons than you have items, but they told me I cannot use more RR than items. I had 3 $2 RR and they wouldn’t let me use them for a 2 item purchase of $7.36.

Okay, here’s the deal, guys. I work at a walgreens but also coupon myself. The ads in the coupon book go through as manufacturer coupons, but we have to put them through manually if you ask. This could be corrected if you buy another item, most stores have the 33c caramels up by the front register or another cheap item in the store you can use as “fillers”.
Also, we cannot override the system to use either more register rewards than you have items, so that problem can also be fixed with “fillers”, i.e. the 9 cent folders or walgreens chapstick that’s been on sale for like 3 months for 66 cents apiece.
Just an FYI I went to 4 different walgreens in the area and cleared out their stock of Kotex this week, since with my discount + coupons I get the boxes that are on sale for 2/7, for 13 cents.
Aren’t coupons great?
Jenny says
Also, most walgreens still accept internet coupons as long as they do not come up “enter price” (i.e. the ones that you get something free with) , or are for cigarettes. All internet coupons are still being accepted as long as they scan at most stores. Some stores have had more of a problem than others, but the ones in my area all still accept them.
