You can see Safeway’s coupon policy right HERE. Most stores will allow you to stack a manufacturer coupon with the store coupons that can be found in the weekly circulars. You will want to be sure to get a club card for Safeway to take advantage of the sale prices! Safeway sale prices tend to vary from region to region so you will always want to double check your local ad! Also, I do not have double coupons in my area so your prices are likely much better than mine!

Yin says
Hidden Valley Ranch 16oz $1.99
There’s ecoupon on cellfire too!
Charlene says
Yin- I looked 3x for that one! I think I have lost it because I don’t see it anymore?
SaveinLa says
Hi Charlene,
I see the HV Ranch dressing in Shortcuts and it’s 2$ off 2 bottles.
Denise says
There is a $2/2 Hidden Valley MQ in the MDA booklet – pair w/the cellfire e-coupons (I have 2 loaded) and they will be free (or $0.98 for 2 if 1 e-coupon is loaded).
bree says
fyi-many of the p&g brand ecoupons expire today so they won’t work for this weeks deals at safeway-but i am assuming since many will be expiring that we should see some new ones?
Denise says
Just saw another one and I am really excited about it!. Kingsford Charcoal is $6.99/each. Buy 2 and use the $4/2 MQ in the MDA booklet and load the cellfire coupons (I have two loaded), and total may be as low as $1.98 for 2 bags (or $5.98 for one bag if only one e-coupon comes off). Either way it is a great deal.
Charlene says
OK- Denise I will add the charcoal. I know the coupons were there before but I think they are gone now for Hidden Valley. I have the MDA coupon up there somewhere.
Charlene says
Ok I see them now! I wasn’t logged into my account and there are tons more coupons when you log in. Blonde moment.
Julianne says
Charlene- Do you know which local Safeway stores have the MDA booklet? The Safeway on Elkhorn (near I80) does not.
Jordan says
I was there monday and a ton of the eating right fresh chicken breasts and thighs were on 50-75% off clearance! That made them I think $1.50 per pound so a terrific deal on fresh (not frozen) chicken.
Charlene says
Hmm. I have seen them at all the Roseville/Rocklin stores 🙁 That is kind of far for you. I wonder if you can call customer service at other stores and ask them if they have it. I noticed my stores have all either run out or have started taking them away because I am only seeing the Grilling book now.
Charlene says
Blah I just noticed that too Bree. Maybe we will see the same ones come back.
Lindsey says
I got the Tyson chicken last week, and 2 cellfire coupons did come off.
The new P&g coupons are up.
Penny says
I can’t find any Tide coupons. I could really use them. It says I have no coupons available for the P&G……
any ideas????
Charlene says
Penny if you have created an account and then logged in and still can’t find any coupons, I would click on the help center and see if they can help you.
Yin says
Found a deal!
Fiber One Cereal $2.99
Use $0.75 cellfire e-coupon
Use $0.75 shortcuts e-coupon
and Use $0.75 coupon from fiber.com
Final Price: $0.75 or FREE (if your store double)
Alice says
I couldn’t see the hidden valley and charcoal coupons on cell-fire. Could they all be gone?
Charlene says
Alice, I saw them when I actually logged into my account. I can still see them.
Mickie says
Free Febreeze Air effects this week too, priced at $1,99 with an in ad coupon. If you have a coupon from those Right at Home booklets, there’s a $1 off 1 coupon. Stack that with the P&G E-saver coupon for $1, and its free!
Scott says
Beware — the Coke 12 packs (buy 5, $2.49 each) were coming up at $5.49 rather than $2.49. Manager had to override. Also, my charcoal rang up at $7.99 — it seemed high but I didn’t have a copy of the ad with me to check — I will be going back to get that corrected. The $4/2 e-coupon came off and the $4/2 coupon from the MDA book worked.
Malissa says
Alice,
I just logged into cellfire and shortcuts and neither one of them is offering me any new coupons including the Ranch or the Charcoal. Hoping when I log on later, they will be there.
Denise says
The charcoal was priced at $7.99 instead of the ad price of $6.99. Not sure if it was an error in the ad, but I am going back tonight to find out.
Rita says
I just went to Vons and tried to use the BOGO coupon for Sobe Lifewater from the manufacturer website. I was told at the register that they are no longer accepting internet coupons that are for free items with a purchase. The cashier told me it was because there have been scams with these types of coupons. I informed her that the coupon came directly off the manufacturer website, and she said that people have been hacking into the websites and creating fake coupons to put on the websites themselves. She said that they just found out about this. I didn’t make a fuss or speak to the manager or anything. But I called the Vons customer service number. The rep told me that she agreed there was nothing in the coupon policy prohibiting use of these coupons but that it must have been an individual store decision. Darn! This was a Vons in San Diego (Murphy Canyon Road).
Sarah says
Just got back from Safeway and what a disappointment! I reviewed my receipt and found that the cashier didn’t scan my Catalina, store Kraft coupon or store bread coupon, and the PG&E $3 didn’t come off on the Tide stain booster. What do you recommend as far as customer service to fix these (back to the store or Safeway 800-number)? Does PG&E have a contact #? Thanks!!!
Sarah says
Oops, not PG&E, I meant P&G!
Charlene says
I would just call your store and ask them what to do. Usually they can refund the coupon value. For P&G just go to the web site and they have a help center.
Annye says
Was the $3/1 Tide Stain Release coupon included in Oregon 8/29 papers? I can only find the $1/1 version that features a picture of the No Dyes, No Perfumes Stain Release packets. Thanks in advance for your help!
Shira says
Anne-
I’m seeing the $3/1 tide stain release on the P&G mag from sundays paper, I get the Mail Tribune since I live in Southern Oregon. It’s just before the middle of the book with mr clean below it.
Anne have you been able to get an MDA booklet for safeway?
Shira says
Wow! loved this one.
Coffee Mate 32oz creamer is on sale for $2.99 and I bought 2 = $5.98
In store coupon (2) $1/1 = $5.98-$2.00=$3.98
MFA posted a link to $.75/1 and I printed 2= $3.98-$1.50 =$2.48
Doubled my coupon with in ad doubler $2.48 – $1.00 = $1.48 for 2 coffee mates! or
$.74/each
Also got $2 off grocery for a scanned coupon I never gave them. Totally confused and not sure why I got it. I finally am seeing an upswing, my coupon savings are more than what I am spending! Yeah!
Got 2.5lbs bananas, 2lbs nectarines, 1.5lbs peaches, 3lbs red seedless grapes and the (2) 32 oz coffee mates for $7.81.
Charlene you are officially helping my bank account now. Thanks!
Shira says
oh! peaches and pears are also $0.99/lb.
Jen T says
My e-coupon also didn’t come off for the Tide stain release today.
Jen T says
I don’t even see a place to contact P&G via e-mail specifically about e-coupons, so I might be returning this in a couple days. Darn. =(
Charlene says
https://www.pgesaver.com/info/Help-Center.aspx
There is a phone number listed as well as email.
Jen T says
Nice! Thanks Charlene =)
Michelle says
I asked my Safeway in Modesto about the MDA book last week and they told me that because they are a smaller safeway (i.e. no gas station) they don’t carry those things…
Nikki says
I shop at Vons and Wholly guacamole is on sale this week for $4.99 and get a free Wholly queso. Using the $1.50 Q from Wholly guacamole facebook page, get a guacamole & a queso for $3.49.
Shira says
ok, so my safeway officially made the coffee mate a money maker.
they are doubling my coupons each up to $1 instead of just .50cents
so $2.99-$1 in store add -.75c from coffee mate website – $1 for doubler = .24 cents each when they are supposed to be .74 cents each.
To make it even better she scanned the in store $1 off one too many times.
So for 2 creamers and 3 candies at the counter (buy2get1free) I paid $1.26.
wish they would keep that up! i guess they are making up for totally embarrassing me a couple times ago.
Charlene says
Shira I have found couponing to be such a love hate relationship 🙂 Usually more love than hate.
tina says
The only stores I know of in Sacramento that carry the coupon books are the Rocklin, Pleasant Grove, and Alhambra stores.
Annye says
Sorry for the delay, Shira, but thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU! With your help, I finally found the elusive Tide coupon!
As for your question regarding the MDA booklets, I’m up in the Salem area and tried a couple of Safeway stores (Dallas and South Salem, I think) before finally finding some at the West Salem store. That was several weeks ago, though, so of course they’re all gone now.
Have you tried asking someone at customer service for a copy? I think given how much they promoted it, they should have made sure every store had lots on hand. Good luck — and thanks again!
Shira says
@Anne –
Thanks for the info…I might have to drive to the bigger safeway to get the coupon booklet. Funny cause I was reading about it and I thought it just wasn’t available in Oregon. Good to know it’s not an Oregon thing!
