You can see Safeway’s coupon policy right HERE. Most stores will allow you to stack a manufacturer coupon with the store coupons that can be found in the weekly circulars. You will want to be sure to get a club card for Safeway to take advantage of the sale prices! Safeway sale prices tend to vary from region to region so you will always want to double check your local ad! Also, I do not have double coupons in my area so your prices are likely much better than mine!

My bags of shredded cheese were in the buy 5 get $5 catalina promo last week. I believe the sign said it was good through Aug 8th? Anyway, they were priced at $1.99, they had sticky coupons on the front for $1.00 off, and then you got the $5.00 Catalina back! So I basically got $40.00 worth of cheese for free.
I’d definitely check for those coupons. If they’re $2.49 this week, and that Catalina is still running with the coupons, they’ll be $0.49 after Cat and Coupons.
Tiffany says
The shrimp is 4.99/lb, so it’s 9.98 for the 2lb bag. Minus $2 coupon from the grilling booklet is 7.98 for 2lbs, or 3.99/lb.
Amy says
Do you think the CAT will roll if I buy another 10?
Charlene says
Yes I do think it will roll Amy. Just be sure to read the cat carefully when you get it but you should have no problems.
Charlene says
Ok thank you Tiffany I corrected that. Check them all carefully this week because I did these on the airplane at 1am last night- on a netbook so who knows what I was typing :).
Denise says
You can get 5 free packages of the Deli Deluxe cheese by buying 5, using (5) $1.00 MQ (link below) and getting $5.00 Catalina. I did it this morning and it works.

Charlene says
Sweet thanks Denise! I wasn’t sure if the Deli Deluxe was included. Did you get them for $2.00 a package then?
Denise says
Yes. It is the smaller package.
Carla says
I just wanted to let you know that you have this post as uncatorgorized (sp?) – I tried to find it under Safeway and it wasn’t there.
Charlene says
Carla I know I fixed it. Thanks!

There is also a $10 mail in rebate for Kelloggs in some store circulars (in Seattle it was in TOP FOODS). It does not specify in which store the items need to be purchased. It is the Fuel for school rebate: buy 10 in one transaction, etc. It is not printable this year. Also, on some Kellogg’s cereals there are movie cash. 3 of these gets you $5 concession cash and you get it immediately by entering the codes on their website.

We don’t have Safeway here in Texas, but we have Tom Thumb, which is the same company. In regards to those shrimp….the special here was the bag of shrimp for $4.99 and there was a $2 coupon in an in-store booklet….for some reason the register was only taking off two cents instead of two dollars…so be sure and watch for that. One cashier tried to tell me it was cause I had not bought the mandatory $10 worth to use the coupon, but I knew that was NOT the case as I shop there every week and use coupons every week and that was the first time I’d had an issue like that. I stood my ground and she took the $2 off my bill. I’d just bought shrimp the week before and had to have the coupon adjusted at customer service and they didn’t mention anything like that so what she was saying went in one ear and out the other. LOL

Does anyone know which size boxes of Cheez-its are included in the sale? Just wondering if it’s the small boxes only?
