You can see Safeway’s coupon policy right HERE. Most stores will allow you to stack a manufacturer coupon with the store coupons that can be found in the weekly circulars. You will want to be sure to get a club card for Safeway to take advantage of the sale prices! Safeway sale prices tend to vary from region to region so you will always want to double check your local ad! Also, I do not have double coupons in my area so your prices are likely much better than mine!

Erin says
You are amazing! Thank you for compiling this information. Through couponing my kids can have “snacks” because there is NO way I’d pay full price. Thanks again ๐
Mary Jo says
Awesome deal scenario. My Safeway doubles up to $0.99 so this is even better here!! Thank you!!!!
Jennifer Y. says
Thanks for all the info and scenarios! I hope we get the same supercoupons here in PA tomorrow.
Sue says
Shopped at Safeway yesterday and bought a few items hoping to benefit from the cellfire and p&g electronic coupons. I also had printed coupons. On my receipt, as far as I can tell, the electronic coupons didn’t come off. I hate that! Did I do something wrong? How will it show up on the receipt if the discount comes off? Thanks!
Sarah says
In my ad the Farmer Johns breakfast sausage was listed at $1.25 ea. use .75/1 from smartsource.com and the .75/1 e coupon from shortcuts, it would make it a .25 money maker.
Sarah says
What zip code did you use for the e coupon for the tide stain release?
Carla Magee says
You know – I never noticed a difference in our prices until the last two weeks. It’s driving me crazy!
Charlene says
Sue- the Cellfire and Shortcuts ones will be listed directly under the item you bought and will say or whatever in a bold type.
Laura says
I have a question about Cellfire. Everytime I try to register it tells me to enter a valid 4 digit birth year. It won’t except 1983 as valid! Another time it told me I have to be at least 13 to join! Any idea what is going on?
Charlene says
No funny. You are too young for coupons ๐ Why don’t you try 1981 and see if it works?
Annye says
Morning, Sue!
If your Cellfire e-coupons aren’t listed on your receipt and you’d loaded them, say, more than 24 hours before shopping at Safeway, contact Cellfire Customer Support via the link in the upper right-hand corner of their site.
I don’t think it was a Cellfire coupon, but when the e-coupons were first introduced, I had some that weren’t honored and the company put the equivalent value on my Safeway Club card for any purchase (sort of like an e-Catalina). I hope that helps!
Sue says
Thanks Charlene. Any idea what happens when the e-coupons don’t come off….I know they’re on my card.
Christine says
Haha! I use 1989 as a valid date of birth =) I agree with Charlene, just try something else! Remember to write it down though, you need it to log in!
Charlene says
Headache. You can call Cellfire I think and I am not sure about Shortcuts. I hate when they don’t work- I haven’t bothered calling them to complain but then I usually have good luck.
Crystal B says
Where do you get this ad from? is it in a newspaper?
Charlene says
Crystal- the weekly circulars are often sent in the mail. You can pick them up in the store or you can go to Safeway.com and select weekly ad and then enter your zipcode. They release them every week on Wednesday and the sales end the following Tuesday.
Katie says
I have been using e-coupons at Kroger with very little trouble, so I tried them at Tom Thumb, and none of them came off. I had coupons from both cellfire and shortcuts, and none of them worked. I submitted the complaint to Cellfire, but have not heard back yet, but when I clicked the link for “contact us” for Shortcuts it just sent me to the FAQs page. Is there anything I can do when the coupons don’t come off? I would love to try these deals this week, but am a little wary since it didn’t work last week.
Erin says
Any word on which zip code generates the PG e-saver coupon for Tide Stain Release? I tried about 5 without luck.
Josie/ My Life As Mommie says
If you are a Von’s Shopper This week Safeway Butter Top Breads are .99! Use the $1 off coupon from the Buy 5 Save 5 booklet and you get free bread! Yeah!
Tracy says
Yikes, the Nature Valley deals are complicated but will be awesome if I make it out of there with the right products/coupons/cats! Thanks!
A Brown says
There is a $2 off Tide Liquid Laundry soap any size in the latest issue of Parents magazine making the deal even better with the P&G esaver and in ad. coupons= $1.99.
Michelle says
Does anyone have problems with the P&G e-coupons coming up? When I go to the site it says that there are no coupons available for me!
Michelle says
Never mind…I figured it out…
Danielle says
Ok, here’s a (new?) Cellfire question…if I have 2 BC Fruit Snacks coupons loaded (diff. Exp. Dates), and I buy 2, will they BOTH come off?
Leah says
Love this sale! I got 12 items (3 NV granola bars, 1 fiber one bars, 1 nut clusters, 6 fruit snacks and 1 box of cheerios) and actually had a profit of almost $3 after the $6.50 in catalinas. For some reason after I looked at the receipt they charged $0 for the cheerios, no idea why. I also got free sweet moments dessert and free Tide stain release. Great trip!
leena says
is it just me or have all the nature valley nut cluster coupons disappeared?
Gifty says
Beginner’s 2 silly questions:
-The Pillsbury printable coupon says DO NOT Double. Will the cashier take it if I already used the weekly cirlular coupon?
-For the Tide stain release, is the $3 pgesavers coupon the same to MFC received in mail?
Charlene says
Gifty-
The Do Not Double means the stores that double the value of a coupon. So if it is .50 and some stores will double that so the coupon is actually $1. What you mean is stacking coupon which is when you use more than one coupon on one item. The double won’t have anything to do with that.
The P&G coupon is an e-coupon. So they are both manufacturer coupons but you can stack them. You can watch the e-coupon vlog I did here- note Safeway changed the coupon policy after I taped that and it says very specifically you can stack:
http://myfrugaladventures.com/2009/11/ecoupon-vlog/
Natalie says
There is a pretty nice rebate from P&G for a $10cat on a $25 purchase. there are some P&G e-coupons… i think it would turn out to be a great deal.
Bianca says
Natalie, have you already gotten the catalina on the p&g products? Im new to couponing and still scared to try.
Catherine says
Ok, I just got back from Safeway. I bought 4 boxes of Fiber One bars at $1.49 each. I had 2 e q’s for .50 each and 4 .50 q’s from coupons.com
it cost $2.96 and I got back a $2.50 Catalina !!
So this is a heck of a deal if you like Fiber One Bars !!
Grace says
Michelle, I was having the same problem with the P&G e-coupon telling me that nothing was available. Then I realized I had not added my Safeway card yet. Once I did that, all the coupons became available. Whoops.
Laura Williams says
Hamburger Helper is also on sale, buy 4 .99 each. Combine that with .75/3 coupons.com and I also had a shortcuts ecoupon for .75/3, making them .62 each!
Alison says
Has anyone found out if the nut clusters are included in the nature valley/fiber one catalina?
