Restaurant.com has a new promo code out- you can get a $25 gift certificate for $2!
Just head over to Restaurant.com and select the restaurant you like and then enter code: CLEARANCE at checkout.
You want to be sure to read the fine print of the restaurant you select- some have limited hours of availability. Also- many will have a minimum purchase required so you probably won’t get a full meal for $2 but you can likely get at least 50% off your meal so still a great deal!

I have never used these and have a question. How long are the certificates good for? Are these on clearance for such a low price because they expire the end of the month? I have been tempted to try this, but you know the old saying, “If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.” We do not have any restaurants near us, but thought we might travel a bit and try one for my husbands upcoming birthday or our anniversary. Any input on these would be appreciated. Thanks!
Mary I have always heard good things from people so I don’t think there is a catch. I think you just need to read the fine print for the one you select and you should be fine. The only time I hear complaints is when people think they will go and get an entire meal for $2 and that is not likely. There is usually a $50 minimum for most restaurants and so you will spend $25 + $2 + a tip.
Mary-I haven’t bought from them before but have also heard great things about them. Under “help” on there website it says
How long is my Restaurant Gift Certificate good for?
Restaurant Gift Certificates do not expire
Also when I was in my shopping cart I noticed “special offers on the bottom” There is one that says $50 Restaurant.com Gift Certificate for $20.00 Restaurant.com promo codes may be used. That seems like a good deal to me!
i just noticed when I added the Gift certificate I just commented on it took 80% off that as well. So it went from paying $20 for a $50 gift certificate to paying $4 for a $50 gift certificate to use on there website.
i purchased these as well. when you print out the coupons, there are some additional restrictions that were not mentioned anywhere else on their site or on their terms. for restaurant-specific gift certificates it states the following: “only one restaurant-specific gift certificate may be redeemed per party, per month, per restaurant, even if the party is seated at separate tables and/or received more than one check”. what i think this means is that if you happen to buy more than one certificate for a place, you can only use one per month.
