If you are in the market for some nicer knives or perhaps a gift, Jasmere is offering $70 vouchers for Ergo Chef knives (including a line from Guy Fieri) for $29.
I tested it and the shipping was extremely reasonable- the huge block set for $300 was just $11 for shipping. I believe you can purchase more than one and stack the vouchers because it does say combinable vouchers – but I am not certain.
Does anyone have these knives and can give us a review?

PS: Someone sent me an email I misplaced but I am certain she told me she was able to use this on a take out order. I am sure every location is different but you might call and ask if they will allow you to do the same! My husband loves Chili’s and I happen to love Queso so hopefully we can get a take out order- yummy!
I am hoping that this is all legitimate- I received an email directly from this company alerting me to a free sample on their Facebook page.
They are offering one of two samples: Tandori Marinade or Curry Sauce. How it works is that you like them on Facebook and you can cast a vote for one of the two products.
Then click the link they provide to fill in your mailing address. Whichever product that receives the most votes will be the one that is sent out as a sample.
Supposedly this offer will run through Friday but I certainly wouldn’t wait if you are interested.
It looks like these products are carried at Food Emporium and Whole Foods so it appears to be a valid promotion.
There is a MDA coupon booklet available for Raley’s/Bel Air shoppers that is full of great coupons. These aren’t quite as good as the ones in the Safeway booklet- but they are certainly worth looking for if you are heading in. There is a $5/2 John Frieda coupon (check the deal at Rite Aid this week) as well as a $1 off Kikkoman sauces (.42 at Target!) There is a $1 off Ore Ida coupon and I saw small trays of crinkle cut fries at Target last night for .99- so free!
They are all manufacturer coupons and expire in Oct or Nov.
Also- if you are heading in to use the $5/10 Black Angus coupon- I found some really good deals with it! Foolishly I went to use it today and it is only valid tomorrow or Sunday- but they had Black Angus Chuck Roast for $2.99/lb. I found a package that was priced at $10.20- so basically $1.49/lb which is a GREAT deal!
Also, Glen Oaks Drinkable yogurt is priced at $2.99. Use the $1/1 coupon plus the $1 off Raley’s coupon and get them for .99! The container is pretty large and I spotted them in the yogurt area.
There are a few deals worth mentioning today on Groupon. I accidentally signed up for several cities when I was checking out deals for MFA and they are so fun to see!!
I saw Invisalign Braces in one city, theater tickets, Hot Air Balloon Rides- all sorts of things that are specific to the city you live in. Each item is deeply discounted and they range daily- I purchased an eye brow arch from a salon recently for $6. So there are just tons of things.
Today they have a few that might be interesting. Keep in mind all of these are online offers- so anyone, in any city can take advantage of them. You DO NOT need to live in the city they are listed under.
To get the offers, just register or log into Groupon. Select “View More Cities” in the top center of the screen. Click on whichever city you like for the deals below. Purchase your Groupon and you should have a gift certificate in your account within 24 hours to use!
::Washington DC (look for the side deal): $40 to iGourmet for $20. I wasn’t that excited about this until I noticed it can be used toward shipping costs. Non perishable costs are about $6 and perishable is $13 for overnight shipping. I found a gift basket of cheeses for $29.99- so you would pay $29.99 +$13 shipping or about $22 total with your groupon certificate.
This might be a cheaper option as a gift than sending flowers or whatever.
::Sioux Falls- $20 for a $40 certificate to Urban Cottage. They have really pretty things but this does not include shipping. It looks like you will get free shipping on jewelry orders of $25 or more- so that could be a good deal.
::Little Rock- has the awesome gallery canvas offer- get a custom canvas for $45 shipped (value $114)
I am sure many of you got these emails already, but if not Home Depot has sent out coupons this week for Buy One Get One Free spring bulbs.
They frequently send out great coupons, so you might want to register for the Garden Club here and see what you get. Each coupon is specific to the recipient so if you didn’t get this particular offer you can register so you don’t miss out next time.
If you have any weekend projects, you can also sign up to get a 10% off coupon via email! This should save you 10% on purchases up to $2000!
PS: You can call your local Lowe’s and check- most of them will accept competitor’s coupons!
