Maybe I’m “groupon retarded”? LOL…. I signed up last night, and the only offers I’m getting are for places I’d never go in a million years, that’re too far away for it to be worth it. =)
Jen- not sure what you mean but there are lots of online offers that are offered in specific cities but anyone can buy. So both of these offers you don’t have to leave the house to get- they are available online.
That’s weird.. they’re not even showing up for me (including the Agoo offer, and I’m seeing multiple people post it now). I filled out the profile with my interests as well. It’s only showing me a todays deal and the prior deals. Today’s deal is a Wine and Cheese tasting thing.. Everything is in San Francisco, which is actually too far to be worth going to. When I change my city to San Jose (even further!) there’s a lot more offers though.
Jen you just have to follow the instructions I posted. I think you might not be clear on this so let me walk you through it. They offer a different deal in each city every day. So you are registered under your closest city which is perfect. Some of the cities will occasionally offer deals that can be purchased online- since they are online it doesn’t matter where you actually live anyone, anywhere can buy them.
So now that you are all set- you just want to go to Groupon.com and log in. At the top of the page you should see the Groupon logo. Immediately to the right of that it will say Visit More Cities. Click on that link (and no other links- just exactly where it says Visit More Cities.)
Now you will see a list of all the cities. For the first deal I posted- the Agoo- it is in Toronto. So if you want that deal click on Toronto and you can buy the deal. If you want the photo deal it is in Salt Lake City. So you will want to click on Salt Lake City.
Remember these offers are for online shopping so it does not matter that you live in California. You can still go online and place your order and it is exactly the same for everyone.
