Not a great week (IMO). Do you know what size the Wescott scissors are? If they’re adult size, they would be worth going for (and the index cards).
Charlene says
Valerie the ad is on Staples.com so you can see exactly which ones. I didn’t see any minimum purchase requirements for the .25 items but double check me. Staples was sneaky last week and I missed it.

Really bummed that Staples changed their Ink Rewards to $2 per cartridge as of July 1. (used to be $3 per cartridge).

I hope another Office Max or Office Depot coupon pops up to turn these into money makers! =)
I am disappointed about the change from $3 to $2, as well. I just took in 7 cartridges on Monday. I would’ve saved another $7 if I’d taken them in sooner! Does anyone know of any other stores that reward you for recycling ink cartridges? I have GOT to get a new printer that can use refillable cartridges!

Charlene, For your readers – if you are a teacher, you are entitled to 25 each of the extreme deals, as opposed to whatever the flyer says. They don’t advertise it, but I’ve never had a problem. Make sure you ask for the Teacher Rewards card.

I went to staples yesterday to get the penny items and the dry erase boards for $1. It turns out the penny item deals ended on Wednesday and the dry erase boards were sold out on Sunday (Manager said: Sorry no rain checks). I was upset because I drove 12 miles to get to the store. The lesson here, read the ad carefully as well as the fine print and call ahead of time to make sure they have items in stock. Well, I had a $10/25 coupon from Office Max and decided to go ahead and get all my school supplies. After the coupon I spent $19.68 and still had to go to walgreens to get notebooks and pencils. The publix, next door to staples, had all the schools supplies i need on sale. I spent $14.68 on everything I needed without a coupon vs. $19.68 at staples with a $10 off coupon.
Charlene says
Yuck Maria- I did note the items that were Sun- Wed only in the match ups. Were these others on top of the ones I listed? I hate when stores don’t have enough inventory. I can understand running out of a rebate item but not the first day the ad breaks!

Right now you can also snag a pink rolling office chair for $4.50 at Staples! I ran out and got one today!
