My local Savemart isn’t taking any type of coupon that are printed at home or are printed by the company and mailed to you. Just be ready in case they turn you away.

Anabel have you tried going through the self check out? I never have a problem when I use those.

Has anyone done the Kellogg’s deal yet? Can you purchase all your Kellogg’s stuff in 1 transaction, then get the rest of your groceries in a 2nd transaction and use the $10 catalina? I don’t shop at Savemart a lot but the Chicken leg quarters are a GREAT deal, as is the corn, grapes, bananas… So if I could use the $10 towards those items I’m going ASAP:-)

Stephanie I would be very surprised if you couldn’t. I won’t say that you absolutely can but I would really make a scene myself if they told me no ๐Ÿ™‚ You can always buy it all and take it to the car and then come back and get the rest of the stuff to be super, extra sure.

  5. Stephanie says

    07/28/2010 at 1:27 PM

Thanks Charlene. I suppose I could always do self check out too, then I won’t have a cashier telling me what to do. Or helping me with my coupons:-(

Do you know what size the Kikkoman Sauce is? I have a coupon for B1 10oz sauce, get a Free Ponzu (whatever that is??) LOL.

I wish my Savemart had self checkout, then I would have had no problems shopping there today. However, I went to 2 different stores and was told that a month ago corporate policy changed and no Savemart stores are allowed to accept internet coupons. Very frustrating. I was frustrated and my daughter was done, so I left everything at the checkout counter and took my coupons and told them I would be going to Raleys instead.

I thought I would update a few things I did see that were part of the promotion. Raisin Bran is not included in the promotion (at Savemart, though it is included at Raleys). The Special K crackers are included at Savemart but the Special K bars were not (Raleys is the opposite). Also, be on the lookout for Cheez-It’s with a peelie for $1/2 (I saw quite a few of them at Savemart at Oakdale Rd and Scenic in Modesto).

The moral of the story is, if you aren’t using internet coupons the deal is better at Savemart, but if you want to use internet coupons go to Raleys where you won’t be treated like a criminal for using coupons!

    What an awesome deal!!
I just got the 10 items for $12.70 and then $10 back, used on the next transaction! YEAH!!
You are so my hero when I get deals like these ๐Ÿ™‚
YOU MAKE ME HAPPY! THANK YOU!

  9. Laura Williams says

    07/28/2010 at 9:13 PM

I forgot to say before, I am emailing corporate asking if they have an official policy on coupon use and I will send it to you if they respond.

  10. Kristin says

    07/28/2010 at 9:17 PM

I also found $2/2 peelies for the Keebler cookies at my savemart AND I found a Kelloggs/Keebler/Cheezit coupon booklet at Raley’s that will go GREAT with the deal they have now. Some coupons are, buy 2 keebler cookies, get $2.00 off ONE gallon of milk, buy 2 rice krispie treats, save $2 on store brand bread, etc. Can’t wait to go to SaveMart tomorrow!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Sandra the cereal makes you happy ๐Ÿ˜€ You did it all by yourself- great job!

Laura- I have had Savemart tweeting me recently so let me see if I can get an official policy from them that way. So sorry about your trip ๐Ÿ™

  13. Kristin says

    07/28/2010 at 10:08 PM

@ Laura. I would have then asked that cashier, if you do not take IP coupons, then WHY can I print them out directly from the SaveMart website?!? LOL. If they don’t want to take them, then they should NOT be offering them on their website for us to pring!! There is even a $5/50 coupon ON THEIR WEBSITE!! LOL

  14. Charlene says

    07/28/2010 at 10:13 PM

Kristin- I can’t find the Arrowhead coupon anywhere for Rite Aid. Was it in the 7/25 RP for you? I had a $1/2 sparkling in that insert and that’s all I can find.

  15. Kristin says

    07/28/2010 at 10:37 PM

It was in the 6/20 SS insert, I think. I will have to double check, but I know it was 6/20. I got it in the Sacramento Bee.

  16. Charlene says

    07/28/2010 at 10:49 PM

Ok got it! 6/20 RP. Nice job girl- posting tomorrow.

I went to Savemart tonight and they did take my internet coupons. I did ask a checker before shopping if they stopped taking them and he said that “they’re weird” but we will take them. Whatever that means. They seemed a bit hesitant but even took the one for avocados so I was happy. I always enjoy shopping at Safeway and Raley’s better than Savemart!

Does anyone know if we can roll the CAT? Would be nice to use the $10 CAT on more of the cereal and stuff and get ANOTHER $10 CAT!!That would make for some great deals!! ๐Ÿ™‚

  19. Charlene says

    07/29/2010 at 10:15 AM

Kristin- I don’t shop at Savemart very often but Walgreens seems to be the only store I know of that has the no rolling rule. Occasionally the cats will say not for use on more of the same products but that is maybe 1% of the time.

Thanks Charlene. I am heading out to SaveMart now. I will check it out ๐Ÿ™‚

  21. Laura Williams says

No official coupon policy for Savemart, but according to my store’s general manager they do accept internet printable coupons, except for those that are obviously fraudulent (ie, free liquor, 5.00/10 Dannon, etc). If your store gives you trouble I would do what the previous poster recommended and explain to a manager that Savemart even offers coupons.com coupons on their site. Just thought I would update ya’all on the outcome.

I just went to savemart and they took all my internet coupons plus let me use the $10 catalina for the next 10 items I got. I also found the $1 off 2 boxes of cheese its. I looked through all the boxes and I only found one. This was at the savemart in Rocklin CA. I also saw that the Nature Valley Nut clusters were on closeout at 2.27 and I use a $1 off coupon. Thanks for all the updates and deals. I have 5 kids and need all the savings I can get. ๐Ÿ™‚

I went so Savemart today and used 26 IP coupons and NOTHING beeped!! The guy that checked me out said it was the most coupons he has seen someone use (I used WAY more than 26, but 26 were IP’s) I have not gone back to use the CAT on the same items, but according to the coupon, there are NO RESTRICTIONS!! ๐Ÿ™‚
@ Stacey, did you use the $10 CAT on the SAME items that gave you the CAT and you got another?!? That would be awesome!! I also saw the peelies on the cheezits AND they are giving you the movie cash, like the cereal!! ๐Ÿ™‚ great deals to be had!!! LOL

I just wanted to pass along a few things I saw at my SaveMart tonight (Chico). I was able to roll the cereal catalina three times with no trouble; we have great checkers at our store and they were happy to see me save $! While in the store I found extra coupons that sweetened things; there was a tear pad of coupons by the Kellog’s fruit snacks; Save $1/2 and by the Keebler Wheatables there was a tear pad with $1/2. At the back of the store near the dairy was a freestanding display that looked like a school bus; on it were various Keebler/Kellog/Cheezit items and a holder with coupon books. There were various coupons to save $ on things like milk, bread, juice, coffee, school supplies, etc., depending on the item you purchased. I was able to use these in addition to the coupons I was already using. For example; I had a coupon to save $1.25 on Kellogg cereal and was also able to use one of these coupons that saved $2 on store brand baggies when I purchased certain Kellogg cereals.

I posted and it disappeared, rats! So, more briefly than before, I found some great coupns at SaveMart tonight: Kelloggs coupon book on a display that looked like a school bus. In it were coupons for dollars off other items when you bought certain Kelloggs/Keebler/Cheezit items. IE: Save $2 off store brand bags when you buy certain Kellogg’s cereals. I was able to use these along with coupons I had to save on the cereal itself. Near the Kellogg’s fruit snacks there was a tear pad with coupons for $1/2 and near the Wheatable crackers there was a tear pad with coupons for $1/2. I was able to roll the $10 into the next transaction as well.
