You can see Safeway’s coupon policy right HERE. Most stores will allow you to stack a manufacturer coupon with the store coupons that can be found in the weekly circulars. You will want to be sure to get a club card for Safeway to take advantage of the sale prices! Safeway sale prices tend to vary from region to region so you will always want to double check your local ad! Also, I do not have double coupons in my area so your prices are likely much better than mine!

I like how you added the other Safeway stores to the title!
Charlene says
Josie my California arrogance makes me assume people know that Safeway is all those stores. I recently discovered they do not know so hopefully that helps 😉
Josie says
lol! You know, I didn’t really like the Safeway stores until I started reaading your blog. It seemed as though they were very over priced and never had too many sales (at least my Vons). When I saw that they accepted e-coupons and how they worked I started taking advantage of the “double-dipping” that you can do. My eyes started opening up to Vons 🙂
So thanks for everything!

There’s a 50 cent coupon in the Safeway Dairy book for any package of LOL butter, but it expires on the 31st. I have used this coupon before to get the tubs of butter.
Last Sunday I noticed the nivea happy lotion was $3.99, so it should be $0.99 with the $3 coupon from last Sunday’s red plum. I can’t confirm if the size was 13.5 oz though.
Also I found some $1 off any O organic product at the pharmacy. why do they put these at the pharmacy????
Charlene says
ooh you found those! Nice! I love those coupons- you get carrots free when they go on sale for $1 and the teas free and all sorts of stuff. Lucky!

I also am happy to see you added the other pavillions stores to the title, I figured it out on my own but would have missed out on all the great deals had I not known they were connected. I too never shopped at my local Vons because the prices never wow’d me. Since reading your blog I now love my Vons . Thanks ! 🙂

When the in-ad coupons state a limit, does that mean you are limited to one transaction per day with your club card, or can you do back-to-back transactions with the same club card and use another coupon? I’m not trying to get away with anything – just trying to save myself multiple trips during the week!

I couldn’t find the waterfront bistro shrimp for $4.99 in my store. It was quite a bit higher. I think the frozen two pound shrimp started at $11.99 and the one you listed was $13.99. Where did you see yours?
Charlene says
Stephanie that was based on my weekly ad. It was on page 2 under Seafood budget stretchers in the blue box:

My store has safeway chunk or shredded cheese for $0.99 (limit 3, no coupon). Unfortunately, I didn’t think to look at all the packages to see if any had the California seal and the one I got did not anyway. But, $0.99 is a great deal!
