Just wanted to let you know that Meijers has been issuing $2 off catalina(store) coupons on any Green Works item. Pair it with the coupons from Coupons.com and the item is either free or close to free. I was able to score some dish liquid for free tonight and it even printed me another catalina for the same thing!!!
Hi Charlen, I am new to “couponing” so I’m not sure if using the fallowing coupons in conjunction is suppose to be allowed but I have used them on 4 occassions at 2 different Publix stores here in Florida:
Egg Beaters (Crystal Farms) priced @ 2 for $5
Use 1 BOGO from Publix “All American Savings” (yellow flyer)
Use 2 $1/1 coupons from Publix “Smart Savings” ($75 in coupon)
= $.50 each.
also…
Philli Cream Chz 4pk priced @ $1.99 each
Use 2 $.55/1 from Publix “All American Savings” (yellow flyer)
Use 1 $1/2 from Publix “Smart Savings” ($75 in coupon)
= FREE
A lot of the coupons in the “Smart Savings” booklet say mfc on them (some don’t) but read “Redeem @ Publix.” Being a Newbie, I figured that this ment that I could use them both. The cashier asked a manager and he said that this conjunction was acceptable. Yesterday, I went to a different Publix and it (partially) didn’t work… the cashier took the eggs with no hesitation but when it came to the cream chz, she asked a manager and the manager said the these were both Publix coupons so, I could only use 1. (???) With that said, I did not remind her that she had just let me through with the eggs. I just apologized and politely asked her to take off the cream chz.
What do you think? Is this a wrong combo of coupons?
Just an FYI too…
My kids drink a lot of apple juice and Publix is offering a buy 3 for $5 deal on White House Apple Juice.
I used 3 $1/3 from Publix “Smart Savings” ($75 in coupon)
= $2 (about $.66 each)
Thank you in advance for any advice!
Brooke- I think they are right you are using (2) Publix coupons on the same item. What you can do, is use the $1/1 manufacturer coupon for Philly plus one of those Publix coupons and pay .44 each. Now Publix is one of the most generous stores I have ever heard of as far as coupons and my understanding is that you can use up to (3) coupons on the same item: a Publix coupon, a manufacturer coupon and a competitors coupon.
The Egg Beaters are a little different because you have a BOGO coupon- I think you can probably use one BOGO and one of the $1 off since you have 2 items. You shouldn’t have been able to use 3 Publix store coupons on 2 items though. You should have paid $1.50 for 2.
Now I don’t have a PUblix so I don’t shop there- but maybe another reader will have more insight for you.
