Here are the Office Max deals for 7/25-7/31.
They are offering the same rebate on backpacks as Staples– except you can get 2 at Office Max. The deal is that you buy a backpack (or 2) and you get store credit back in the form of a rebate. You need to join their free Rewards program in order to get the rebate back.

**The ad does say while supplies last on many items. If you can’t make it into the store early in the week, I would suggest calling ahead to confirm they still have stock before you head out.
Also, the ad says you can get $10 off a $30 purchase at Finish Line with purchase of 2 Bic items. It looks like you need to see a store associate for details- but those Bic pens are only .50 a bag! (Be sure to check your ad for this offer as it may be regional- it was at the top of page 2 in my ad.)
When I click on the link to see the ad for 7/25, it goes to this weeks ad. Any ideas?

I was so excited for the Finish Line deal – but I don’t see it in my ad. Maybe its regional? What a great way to get back to school shoes! Bummer 🙁 I’ve got the backpack deal but the rest of the front is different. Oh well. Thanks for always posting great deals!

You can AD? Ok good. I don’t shop at Office Max but I got yelled at by tons of readers that did some rebate offer awhile back and then couldn’t use the Rewards on more rebate offers… I’d rather be safe than sorry with what I post now.
Jess- I hope it isn’t regional. It was on page 2 of the Weekly preview ad and it is in smallish print under the blue “Buy One Get One Free” thing next to Sharpies at the top.
Julie if you look at the toolbar across the top it says “this week’s” in sort of a yellow-orange color and then 3 tabs over it says “next week’s ad”.

I am not sure, but I heard its Office Depot that you can’t, but I haven’t confirmed that. Maybe Office Max got enough of a backlash that they revised their rewards policy? All I can say is that I have been able to use rewards to buy rewards items for the last year or so…
Charlene you are right the Finish line deal is right there on pg 2, don’t know how I missed it! Has anyone else tried to do it? I tried this morning and no one knew what I was talking about at all. They called help desk and told me I had to spend $30 at Finish Line and they would give me a $10 coupon for Office Max?!? How do they not understand It?! So I will be calling corporate tomorrow I guess since it was the store manager that “helped” me.
