Well it looks like Kmart is doubling again. This time they are only doubling coupons up to .99 and you can only do 5 per day.

It appears you can use any coupon this time- not just Health and Beauty items.

The list of locations is available here.

Now I’d love feedback from you guys. What are your thoughts on this- are you excited or are you going to skip it?

Thanks Kaley and Julia!

The ones in this area are not participating this time, but none of them are close enough for me to go out of my way for .99 doubles more than once or twice. Certainly not every day.

Skipping it! Not worth the time and effort to go anymore. Last time my store was supposed to be participating and they said they weren’t.

I will probably skip it since a lot of the coupons i have are $1 off and im sure since its over 99 cents they wont take it, not worth the cost of gas

    A no-brainer for me.
    Skip it!

I’ll have to see what’s going to be on sale. My Kroger doubles $1 coupons…so if it’s not going to be a REALLY good deal, I’ll pass this time.

Skipping it! Not worth my time with one less than a mile from me.

I’m skipping it! I’ll admit that Kmart doubles is how I started couponing-but since they have gotten so crazy about the rules and limits, its not worth it. I get better deals at Publix anyway! And the customer service blows Kmart out of the water!

i will probably go in ONLY to score the cheapest CG mascara and free eyeshadow for a little bit better price than at target so i can accumulate product for the Olay rebate. my sis in law gets awesome deals during double events but my mother in law shops at that same kmart and has a horrible time. i despise my kmart. so it’s not usually worth the hassel.

skip it! Not worth the gas to get there.

We’ll as someone that would get SO excited about doubles week, I am going to have to skip it. They are being ridiculous on all these guidelines that you have to go by. This is the topper. I think I might be done with doubles week all together..bummer! This really is disappointing.

OK Brea- if you are skipping it than I know for sure. I usually spend ages and ages on the match up lists and this time around I won’t spend nearly as much time. Remember the days of 2 pages of free items and unlimited coupons?

Definitely, skipping it. Too much hassle to shop there and not worth it. They overcharged me at the last doubles event and couldn’t figure out how to refund me cash. They ended up giving me a gift card for the difference which was ridiculous.

  13. Debbie says

    07/22/2010 at 10:28 PM

Skip it! Not worth my time.

  14. Courtney J says

    skipping it for sure.

Skipping it…most items at Kmart seem way overpriced to begin with, so even with .99 doubles, I will probably pay too much.

My 19-yr-old daughter is a cashier at KMart this summer. She didn’t hear anything about coupon doubling last time. I’ll have her check tonight at work about this one.

All three of our grocery stores always double up to $.99, so that’s not new. I’ll check the sale flyer to see if there are any great deals. My daughter gets a 25% employee discount, so that might be the deciding factor. (We looked for things for her college apt. Even w/ 25% off, Christmas Tree Shop and IKEA had better deals.)

RE: customer service – this is the top store in New England. The management will not tolerate grumpy employees. They are told, “Smile. Smile. Smile!” We are HAPPY people are here to spend money. We want them to feel welcome. It makes working there pleasant too.

I’ll check it out because I have been excluded from all the doubles events and no store doubles in this area (Florida) so, I’m a bit excited but a bit let down that when my store finally participates, it is only up to .99, not even a $1.00 coupon – what a let down

  18. Janelle says

    07/23/2010 at 4:54 AM

Well we had doubles two weeks ago. They doubled up to two dollars and we had a 15 coupon limit. It was the sametime that the health and beauty doubles were. So maybe we may get lucky and some of us may get a better deal. But if its only .99 and 5 coupon limit. I will skip it also. Not worth the time. I am in ohio.

Since the prices there are way too high, unless they have a sale item in their ad which makes somehting free I will skip it. 99 cents and under isn’t worth my time, plus 5 coupons per day. If a store wants to draw customers they will need to do better than that. Besided the cashiers at my local Kmart are super slow and half the time I spend more time in line waiting and gettting irritated than a customer should ever have too. Skipping it!!!

  20. Jasmine says

    07/23/2010 at 7:06 AM

    Skipping! So not worth it.

  21. Julie says

    07/23/2010 at 7:11 AM

I’m definitely skipping it! Their prices are too high to make doubling $.99 coupons worth it.

  22. Irene says

    07/23/2010 at 7:31 AM

OMG skipping it for sure! I don’t have alot of Q’s that are under $1 anyway, and they are so overpriced on their stuff as it is, that this will definitely not be worth my time or gas! I started couponing at the beginning of last year when they were doing a double coupon week where it was up to $4 coupon they were doubling! I wish they would do that again!

  23. Jennifer says

    07/23/2010 at 7:44 AM

agree with everyone else, skipping it. Too many rules and just not worth the hassle.

  24. Maria says

    07/23/2010 at 7:54 AM

I think I’ll pass too. It’s not worth the troble

  25. Lindsy says

    07/23/2010 at 7:55 AM

Skip for me too. Not worth the time.

  26. Charlene says

    07/23/2010 at 8:04 AM

Dee that is a great store! I wish they all had that attitude. I honestly won’t set foot in my store and it is just such a shame.

  27. Emily says

    07/23/2010 at 8:42 AM

Skipping it! I have tried Kmart 3 times since I’ve been couponing and every time they have been out of at least half the items I have planned to purchase (or the items on the shelf have had been passed the expiration date.) On top of that, I’ve been overcharged and had to fight to get the price listed on the sign. Kmart would have to come up with some AWESOME deals to get my business.

It’s a shame they don’t have better customer service. None of grocery stores double coupons, so this would be great for me, if it was worth the time.

    07/23/2010 at 9:45 AM

First of all- yes Charlene! I remember the pages of AWESOME matchups you have done in the past, it was so much fun then! But I think I will give it a go and see if we may get lucky and they accept higher than 99 cents- as we all know with kmart, nothing is usually in stone untill the event starts! If it is truelly only 99 centers, than not worth the time! I love my doubles, but I am so tired of waiting in that store for over an hour to fix bad transactions with staff that is completely clueles (BTW- I blame the corporation, not the staff for this) good luck to all who brave this one!

Well K-Mart is not close to us. However, it’s not far from where my husband works. I might send him after work if I find anything worth hs effort.

    I agree with everyone else!
The Kmart doublers was the way I got hooked on coupons!I was so blown away that there was all that free stuff at Kmart I never knew about! It was sooooo awesome and I got in on 2 of the doubler events and ever after it has been such a sorry deal I finally just did not go the last 2 times they had it. Just to depressing from what it use to be.
But I am still a avid couponer so thanks to Kmart doublers I am still saving money!
I just wish they would realize they would have a great turnout if they would go back to the way it use tobe. Dream on!
