There is a good deal I wanted to highlight in the CVS ad for 8/1. Buy $10 in select items and get a $3 ECB back. This includes Skippy PB which is priced at 3/$5.
There is a $1/2 coupon in the 8/1 RP- so a deal idea:
Buy 6 Skippy at $10
Use (3) $1/2 coupons
Get $3 ECB
Final Price: $4 for 6 jars or .66 each.
Now I realize that is a lot of Peanut Butter but if you want to stock up for the school year this is a good opportunity.
*One note is that these coupons tend to vary by region- so you may not get a $1/2 coupon. That was the one in my newspaper.
You will can also send away for the free cookbook when you spend $10 in Skippy PB.

There’s no such thing as too much peanut butter, LOL!
Thanks for posting this. My husband just finished my last jar, he eats it right out of the jar and I can’t seem to keep it in the house. I will definitely be stockpiling this.
There is a coupon for the mayo listed on this ad here: http://www.bestfoods.com/promotions/therealfoodproject/prizes.aspx
Thanks Michelle- I have that one in the regular match ups too. There are a few ways to do this deal.
I agree with Ruth, there is no such thing as too much peanut butter!
We use it to make peanut butter pinecones for the squirrels they love it!
This makes it a good price to make it for them.
thanks
I now have to buy pb in 4lb. canisters since my husband eats so much of it!
I just got $4 off a $20 purchase so this will make the deal even better! My boys love their pb&j 🙂
How do you already know what coupons are going to be in your paper? I am in the Sac Bee area, which area are you in?
I get the advance Red Plum insert in the Thursday Placer Herald.
Tory, I get inserts in my local paper both on Wednesdays & Saturdays. You can call Gold Country Media at (530) 885-2471 to see if they have a ‘local’ paper for your area. They have ‘local’ papers all over the Sacramento area. Ask for their ‘first time subscriber rate’ and you can maybe get it for $20/yr. (I think that was what mine was).
my skippy coupon in today’s paper was 40cents off of 1, not $1/2. I am in MI. :(. Not a huge difference, but different nonetheless.
Krista I belive I made a note that there are typically regional differences with the Unilever coupons. Yours will be .76 each which is still a very good price.
This was a very good deal on the PB. I am completely out of peanut butter so this came at a good time. I bought 6 jars and am sending away for the cookbook today.
