I have 6 BOGO Sobe coupons. The limit of 6, does that mean 6 “deals” or 6 items. Can I use all 6 coupons for 12 bottles.

  2. Tina says

    07/01/2010 at 5:33 PM

olay rebate is through July 2 only. So it won’t work for next week.

  3. Charlene says

    07/01/2010 at 5:39 PM

Oh darn. I saw the 15th on the rebate form but that is the date to submit. Bummer.

  4. monica says

    07/01/2010 at 5:50 PM

I’m wondering the same thing as Barb (comment above)…. so is that 6 per transaction or per cvs card? does anyone know?

    thanks!

also for the bounty deal, there’s $2 coupons printing out of the little red machines, so you can use both to get a better deal! ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m also in the same boat as everyone else!! ๐Ÿ™‚ is the sobe 6 total limit or can we get 12 with our coupons?!?!!!?

  7. Mary says

On the Charmin – is it the mega rolls? If so can the Upromise coupon be used for another $1 off?

I just want to say thanks for how nicely you organize your blog. I’ve visited other couponing blogs and it’s hard to tell where one thing ends and the next one begins. I love how you use bold face, space things out, use little boxes for deal ideas. I know that must take extra work, but it is definitely appreciated! Makes my life that much easier!

Wanted to mention I received a $7/15 Cover Girl CVS coupon at the kiosk this week. The expiration is through next week, so you know when I’ll be using it! Moneymaker!

I received a $1/1 Thermacare CVS coupon from the kiosk this week, good through next week.

I’ve been getting a ton of the $2 CVS coupons for Bounty this week. There is also a $1/1 in the June P&G, which gives you an even better deal.

I’m finding that this week, the Bounty Basic Select-a-size is on sale for $5.97, -$2 CVS coupon and -$1 PG coupon makes it $2.97 for a six pack of towels.

The sale listed for 7/4-7/10 shows the Bounty 8 pack for $6.99, -$1 ECB, -$2 CVS coupon, -$1 PG coupon for $2.99 for an eight-pack of towels.

However, on the pick-a-size towels, I tend to use a the smaller towel, rather than a full towel. Therefore, even though I get fewer rolls of paper towels, I feel they last longer, since I’m not wasting a big towel on a small spill.

    07/01/2010 at 9:23 PM

How do I use a Bogo coupon for Sobe if they are on sale as Bogo?

  11. Charlene says

    07/01/2010 at 9:26 PM

Well Mary the U Promise coupon won’t actually come off. It is deposited into your U Promise account. So it is called a coupon but it isn’t really a coupon.

  12. Charlene says

    07/01/2010 at 9:28 PM

I don’t know the answer. I think the limit will be per transaction. Someone will have to test it and report back. Worse case you will pay .50 per drink which isn’t a bad case at all.

  13. Charlene says

    07/01/2010 at 11:40 PM

A BOGO sale in a store is offered by the store. They are footing the bill for the “free” item. A coupon is a form of payment that the manufacturer of the product provides. So a BOGO coupon is paid for by the manufacturer. In this case CVS is paying for one and SOBE the other. So it is perfectly legitimate. The trick is that many cashiers and store managers feel uncomfortable with this- because you are leaving a store with free stuff. So the issue is that many of them will simply refuse to allow it because it just feels wrong even though it is not.

I just tried CVS for the first time and loved it! They are so much more accomodating than Walgreens with coupons and I love that you can scan your card when you arrive and coupons print out. I did the Aveeno deal. I was very excited about it!

  15. Lori says

    07/02/2010 at 7:24 PM

I just submitted for the thermacare coupon, and it came up with an expiration date of 6/22/10. Anyone else have this problem?

  16. Lori says

    07/02/2010 at 11:14 PM

Charlene – the $0.75 Charmin coupon in my 6/13 RP is a Target coupon. Does CVS take Target coupons? Or is there another coupon floating around out there?

  17. Charlene says

    07/02/2010 at 11:36 PM

    Nope fixed it Lori!

  18. April Boyer says

    07/03/2010 at 9:25 AM

I just did the SOBE, cashier said limit 6 deals. I got 8 bottles, used 4 coupons and just paid tax!

Was there a deal ending today on the Pantene? I just got a $2 off coupon.

  19. Lori says

    07/04/2010 at 7:09 AM

Just ran the sobe deal, it’s 6 deals, 12 jars.

Make certain to use the kiosk – I got loads of coupons today, including $5 off $20 CVS brand purchase (CVS brand batteries are bogo), $0.50 off a milky way (priced at $0.50 right now), $2 off a loreal purchase (bog50 right now), $1 off 2 greeting cards, plus more. Most if which need to be used within 24 hours.

And, found out they are changing packaging on their old emblem cookies and candy, so look for a display near the register that has it priced as low as .17 each. If you still have the $1/3 coupons from last week, free candy!

    07/05/2010 at 1:11 PM

i’m in So Cal and there is no limit on the Sobe BOGO. No where in the weekly ad has any ‘limit’ stated.

Also, the coupon kiosk printed $2 off L’oreal good for only one day, today!

  21. TJ says

    07/05/2010 at 5:23 PM

My Sobe experience: Used 2 BOGO Q’s last nite with no problem. Repeated deal this morning at different store on the way to work….no problem. Repeated deal this afternoon on way home from work at different store and the manager who was working the register said she thought she received a CVS email from corporate that stated not to accept BOGO Q’s w/ BOGO items, so, she refused the deal.

  22. Charlene says

    07/05/2010 at 6:43 PM

TJ I am concerned some might have gotten carried away which may create a problem. I heard some stores didn’t take any of them from the get go. Same as the Skinny Cow awhile back…

  23. Sarah says

    07/06/2010 at 1:02 AM

Is the Huggies deal local to NorCal only? The deal states “spend $20 get $10 extra bucks on the following items: Huggies Jumbos $9.00, Poise $12.00, Kotex $5.00 or Huggies Wipes $6.00” I just got 2 packs of Huggies Jumbos for $9.00 a piece. I had 2 of the $3.00 coupons left. Then I grabbed one pack of Kotex pads for $5.00. I got a $10 ECB for purchasing $20 worth of Huggies, Kotex or Poise.

$23.00 – $6.00 coupons – $10 ECB = $7.00 Probably could have been better with a Kotex coupon but I didn’t have any on me, since I wasn’t prepared for this deal.

  24. Charlene says

    07/06/2010 at 8:17 AM

Sarah- that is great maybe it is an unadvertised deal? Where do you live?

  25. keesha says

    07/06/2010 at 8:39 AM

Sobe has not been so successful for me. Went to Cvs near my house they are refusing all printed coupons? something about being audited and not able to accept printed coupons?? store near my job…they have scanning system and it refused my coupon twice?

  26. Charlene says

    07/06/2010 at 8:48 AM

Keesha I don’t know what that means ๐Ÿ™ I heard locally when Skinny Cow was free people were photo copying coupons and a few stores started refusing them. It sounds like your store may have had some fraud with IPs.

  27. keesha says

    07/06/2010 at 9:42 AM

The coupons I printed from my printer are the ones they aren’t accepting at the Cvs near my house nor were they accepting them at the “self-check out” Cvs near my job. They did accept my manufacturer’s coupons for huggies though? Not sure if they are having fraud issues in this area and that’s why they’re not accepting coupons printed from a printer…

  28. judy says

    07/06/2010 at 4:45 PM

I scand my cvs card on the red machine and it have me $2.00 extra bucks and $2.00 of any panteen product!

  29. Sarah says

    07/06/2010 at 5:30 PM

Charlene – I live in the Bay Area. I am hoping that some other coupons come up for the Huggies deal. I only have 1 coupon left.

  30. Charlene says

    07/06/2010 at 5:44 PM

Sarah I just posted a new one!

  31. Lori says

    07/06/2010 at 9:32 PM

Scanned my card today, and got a ton more coupons. Another $0.50 off a milky way (they are priced at $0.50 right now, so free). $5 off razor blade refills. $5 off Dr. Scholls for Her. $1/2 cards (priced at $0.99 each right now). $4.50 off a box of pampers. Remember to scan more than once – I got a total of five coupons!

  32. Danielle says

    07/08/2010 at 4:09 AM

Does anyone know if Target will price match the Sobe deal? Both my CVS stores are cleaned out…I got rain checks, but was wondering since I’m heading to Target anyhow…

  33. Charlene says

    07/08/2010 at 8:09 AM

Danielle, You can try but I think one of the little caveats to their PM policy is no BOGO sales.
