This deal is a little tricky so I am going to post a fairly simple transaction that I think should work for most people.
There is a Target coupon available for a Free Kellogg’s Fiber Plus Antioxidents Cereal with Purchase of Kellogg’s Cereal or Antioxident bars.
Kellogg’s cereals are priced at $2.54-2.75 this week- so here is a deal idea:
Buy 2 Boxes Kellogg’s Cereal $2.54 (this was the starting price at my store but they varied from $2.54-2.75 a box)
Buy 2 boxes Kellogg’s Antioxident Cereal at $2.66
Subtotal: $10.40
Use $1/2 Kellogg’s Cereal coupon (manufacturer)
and Use (2) FREE Antioxident Cereals when you buy Kellogg’s Cereal (Target coupon)*
Final price is $4.08 for 4 boxes or $1.02 a box.
Now the FREE Kellogg’s Target coupon is actually taking $4.29 off rather than $2.66. I tested this and had 2 friends in 2 other states test it as well. I am a little conflicted on this because this is really a gray area for me. I don’t know if it is right to encourage people to take advantage of a pricing mistake. I am going to let you decide what you think is the right thing to do. Also, your cashier might very well notice the mistake and adjust the price- so I don’t know how your transaction will actually work out.
I am just going to post scenarios the way it should work.
Now if you like Special K cereals, those are on a special deal- buy 4 and get one free. So here is an idea for that:
Buy 5 Special K Cereal at $2.75 (price at my store)
Buy 4 Kellogg’s Antioxident Cereal at $2.66
Subtotal: $24.39
Use (2) $1/2 coupons
Get One box of Special K free when you buy 4 (-2.75)
Use (4) Free Kellogg’s Target coupons*
Final Price: $8.91 for 9 boxes of cereal or $.99 a box
*You will need access to two computers to print this many coupons.
Now to make this even trickier there was a coupon in the 6/13 RP for $5 off a Toy Story 3 game or toy when you buy 5 boxes of Kellogg’s cereal. So it will depend on your cashier if you can use that coupon as well- you should be able to find something for free or very cheap.
You might be able to find the Try Me Free cereals at your store or the specially marked Toy Story rebate cereals.

So, just got back from Target and I was able to use all the coupons for the Kelloggs BOGO…and they took 4.29 off my total for each coupon. So I got 2 boxes of the Antioxidan Plus Fiber cereal and 2 boxes of Special K for $1.24. I do feel a little guilty, but…I guess not guilty enough not to use the coupons…

Ha Michelle! I know I didn’t mean to cheat them I just looked at my receipt in the car and then I felt bad.

About the $5 Toy Story coupon… there is a Toy Story 3 CD in the electronics department that contains a few songs and a reading of Toy Story 3 and it is only $4.99!! It worked for me!
Charlene says
Katie- I didn’t see that but I saw some books for about $6 in the same department.
