There are a few ways to get cheap drinks right now at Safeway Family stores.
You remember the in ad coupon this week for $3.99 Frappucinos. Use the $1/1 from the 5/2 SS and pay $2.99.
Now supposedly there is a promotion running when you buy a 4pk of Starbucks Frappucino, you get $5 off any floral purchase.
I have checked 3 stores and I can’t find any other details about this promotion but my understanding is that the signs are in the Frappucino area. You might keep an eye out- I am not sure if this is regional or what but I did a random Starbucks display in the floral department of one store- just no signage.
Anyway, the floral department of my store has herbs for $1.99 and they have tomato plants for $5.99- so this is a great deal if you can find it!

Pepsi or Aquafina 6pks are priced at $6 for 3 packs with in ad coupon. If you can find the hang tags on the bottles for $3/3- you get each one for just a buck!

I am not sure that you can use the hang tag coupons with the in ad coupon for the Pepsi because they are both store coupons, not manufacture. Has anybody tried tihis yet?
Jamaica- if they are store coupons than you are right. I know it worked for the reader that passed it on- I am sure she thought they were manufacturer coupons. Maybe there are different ones?
The store cashier removed the coupons that were attached to some of the products I was buying (too lazy to do it myself) so I didn’t get a good look at the coupon. I assumed the hangtag was a MQ and nothing beeped, but it could have been a store coupon. I was pleasantly surprised when I got home and looked at the receipt and saw the 6 pack drinks were only a buck a piece.
I’ll be sure to ask them about it when I go back, but my safeway is super coupon friendly. Even if they say it’s ok to use a particular coupon, and I don’t feel that this store will get reimbursed, I won’t do the deal. Love my Safeway!
