Brita Pitcher $2.77 at Lowe’s

07/24/2010 By Charlene 12 Comments

This post may contain affiliate links, please see my disclosure policy.

In tomorrow’s Red Plum insert, we will see several Lowe’s coupons- including one for $2 off a Brita Slim Water Pitcher.

These are priced at $9.77 online when I enter my zip code.  You can head over and enter yours and see if you find the same price.

If you register and take the pledge here, you can get a $5 off any Brita coupon.

The majority of Lowe’s stores will allow you to stack a store coupon with a manufacturer coupon.  If you haven’t done this at your store- you can always call ahead to confirm.

So the math looks like this:

Buy 1 at $9.77
Use $2/1 Lowe’s Coupon
and Use $5/1 printable coupon
Final Price: $2.77!

I am super excited about this deal! Thank you for sharing, I really needed a new pitcher. I’m trying to order it online now but I have to pay for it. How would that work with the coupons? Can you order it and pay for it at the store?

I was thinking that too. Just because it is hot and you don’t want to waste your time Catherine, I would just call them tomorrow and confirm they have it in stock and then check they will stack the coupons and then pay for it there.

Otherwise you could order online and then have the hassle of going to customer service for a refund of the coupon value… I think the first option is the easiest. I just added the Lowe’s link so people can confirm the price in their area and if their stores have stock. Online says you can pick stuff up in 30 minutes so if your store came up for you they should for sure have them available.

Sorry Sandy- did you call ahead like I suggested and they still refused? The policy is to allow it but when stores don’t get many coupons sometimes they simply are not trained to handle them properly.

Mine refused to stack and they were rude as well. I was very disappointed with Lowes. They wouldn’t even take the manufacturers coupon at all at both of the Lowes in town. Too bad, I was so excited about the deal 🙁

Well darn. I had my husband try it this morning just to be sure and he had no problems at all. Did you guys call ahead as I suggested and they still refused? If you did you might call and complain to the store manager.

    Hi Charlene,

Per your suggestions, I called lowes. The customer service gal said no we don’t allow double couponing. I told her it’s not doubling as one is lowes coupon and the other is a “manufacture” coupon. And I told her that since they probably don’t get much couponer, I told her that her store allows it. She transfered me to the manager and he said I couldn’t do it. Again, I told him that per lowes policy, it is allowed. He asked me where I read their store policy? I told him from their website.

Then he said, “Ok, I’ll allow it.” Weird, but I’m happy. But at the same time, I’m sad and perplexed that store employees makes it so hard for us (consumers). Not right.

BTW, I’m here in Seattle WA

I just came home with my Brita pitcher for $2.77. At first the cashier, asked which coupon I wanted to use. I told her BOTH! She said only one was allowed. So she decided to put in the $2.00 one, in which I told her I wanted to use the higher value one of $5.00. She had already processed the smaller one, but then added the larger value. I ended up paying $2.77. It was a FUN sale.

Lincoln, Ca Lowe’s has these priced at $7. I’m more of a Home Depot person, but if they have a self-checkout I’d try this deal through that instead.

I tried at the Cincinnati store, even calling ahead (my brother works there too). And they refused to take the store coupon, but let me do the $5 coupon. Very disappointing since they were on sale for $7! Could have been free!
