$25 Drugstore.com Certificate for $10!

The Groupon deal of the day is a $25 gift certificate to drugstore.com for just $10!!  I am excited about this since drugstore.com has all sorts of everyday and specialty items like organic cleaning products or vitamins or pet care or cosmetics!  So you basically get 60% off plus shipping is free for new customers on a $25 order!

This would be a great way to splurge on a gift for someone too- they have Philosophy items and if you click on beauty.com tab you can see items that have free gifts with purchase.

I am excited about this and I bought my certificate already.

To get the deal just head over to Groupon and either log in or register.  Then select Hampton Roads as the city in the top center.  Since this is an online offer you can buy this deal no matter where you live.

There are limited quantities available so hurry over!  It looks like this is limited by drugstore.com to one per person.  You can buy extras as gifts.

I’d love to hear what you decide to use this certificate on!

Thanks Mrs MoneySaver!

NOTES:

There are a handful of exclusions- you can’t use this on prescriptions, magazines, tax or shipping.  I can not promise shipping will be free- but it does say very clearly at drugstore.com that shipping is free on a $25 order so it should work.

You should get an email within 24 hours letting you know your certificate is ready.

You should be able to use this on some of the current rebate offers- like the try me free Schick rebate, the $20 off $50 Olay rebate or $10 off $30 P&G rebate.  Now I can’t promise it will work since I have no idea what the invoices will say.  They should have the retail price listed and the gift certificate should show up as a payment- but I do not know for sure so you are taking a chance if you decide to go that route.

Yesterday I got items that I ordered last week from Drugstore.com using the $10 off $10 promotion. It comes with a regular invoice similar to the one I got from Walgreen’s online order. There should be no problem using this for a rebate. It came quickly and exactly what I ordered with no problems.

Does the deal of the Day depend on the area you live in? Mine when I signed up says $15 for a $30 certificate at Peace of Pizza restaurant.

I would have LOVED this! But, it’s sold out. This would’ve been a great way to get some cheap CA Baby products for my very sensitive skin kids. Bummer.

I believe shipping is free for your FIRST drugstore.com order. For subsequent orders I think it’s $49 to get free shipping. They do sell basics that make it easy to get to $49 though!

From Groupon since the drugstore.com on sold out.

Jim S. commented 11 minutes ago Hey everyone, Jim here from Groupon. We are running two tests today with the team over at drugstore.com, the one that ran here in Hampton Roads today and a $15 for $30 on beauty.com in Miami. As with many tests we agreed to a limit to both deals as they wanted to assess results and the user experience before potentially rolling larger offers across multiple Groupon markets.
Thanks for the great response to the drugstore.com offer this morning!

Maybe we will see it pop back up in another city. I bet Groupon is thinking Hampton Roads is a pretty hot market for them right now 🙂

Kristine- the cities are all different so you had to change the city to Hampton Roads. It is sold out now though 🙁 Usually you would not want to buy something from another city because it would be specific to that area but this was different since it is an online thing.
