I didn’t want to post this new rebate until I had time to work through the best possible scenario. Now this is a little tricky so stay with me here- the stars are going to align next week to get a serious deal at Rite Aid.
Aveeno Ageless Vitality Skincare Kits are priced at $39.99
Aveeno Positively Ageless Sunscreen is $12.49
Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotions are priced at $7.69 (large) or $3.69 (small)
Now here are two ideas to score. I would recommend getting all your coupons and rebates printed now. Remember you can print this post (click on the printer at the bottom) to make sure you have everything you need.
The tricky part on this is that the Rite Aid rebate says you must spend either $25 or $50 AFTER coupons– so here are a few ideas:
{Deal Idea #1}
Buy 1 Aveeno Ageless Vitality for $39.99
Buy 1 Aveeno Ageless Sunscreen for $12.49
Buy 2 Aveeno Lotion at $7.69
Subtotal: $67.86
Use $5/25 Rite Aid coupon
Use $5/1 Aveeno Ageless Vitality coupon from May All You magazine
Use $5/1 Aveeno Ageless Sunscreen coupon
Use $2/2 Aveeno coupon for lotion
You pay $50.86 after coupons + tax::Then submit the $20 Aveeno rebate HERE (you will need to mail your receipt in)
::Enter your receipt online to Rite Aid and get a $25 Gift card to Rite Aid back for spending $50 after coupon (rebate # 555)
::Use your Wellness Card when you pay and you get an extra $5 rebate back when you qualify for rebate #555 above. (rebate #655)
So you will spend $49.86 + tax and you will get $20 in cash back plus $30 in Rite Aid gift cards, which means you just paid tax for all that.
{Deal Idea #2}
Buy 1 Aveeno Ageless Vitality for $39.99
Buy 1 Aveeno lotion for $3.69 (these are the 2.5 oz size)
Use $5/25 Rite Aid coupon
Use $5 off Aveeno Ageless Vitality coupon from May All You magazine
Use $5 off in ad coupon for Aveeno Ageless Vitality
Use $2/1 Aveeno lotion in ad coupon
Subtotal: $26.68 + tax::Then submit the $20 Aveeno Ageless Vitality rebate (mail in your receipt)
::And submit the Rite Aid rebate online for $10 Rite Aid gift card back when you spend $25 (after coupons) on Aveeno (rebate #555)
::You will also get a bonus $5 gift card to Rite Aid when you qualify for rebate #555 above AND you use your Wellness card when you pay (rebate #655)
So you will have spent $26.68 + tax and you will get $20 in cash back plus $15 in Rite Aid gift cards! That overage should easily pay for your tax!
NOTE: This is assuming your store will allow you to use all those coupons. Some stores will not. I would suggest playing with the coupons and scenarios to come up with something that will work for you!
NOTE #2: This rebate is #555 so if you previously did this for the Olay deal, you can not submit it again.
NOTE#3: The details about the Wellness card are HERE– basically just pay as usual and make sure they scan your card at checkout. You can request it online or in store in just about a minute.
I’d love to hear what ideas you guys come up with!
Thanks to For the Mommas for tracking down all those prices- you can see a few ideas she came up with HERE.

How do they know WHAT you used a coupon for?! It does not say on the receipt what item the coupon was used for, so how is the rebate amount AFTER coupons?! Just curious as to how that works. I submited 2 receipts yesterday (both having coupons on them) and it is showing the FULL amount of the item I bought, NOT what I actually paid. TIA

I can’t find the Rite Aid coupon when I click that link? Any suggestions?

If folks did the $2.99 Coppertone deal twice this week at Rite Aid, they should be able to do the Aveeno Deal #2 listed here and get the $25 Gift Card (instead of the $10 GC) for Rebate #555 b/c their Coppertone purchases combined w/ the Aveeno Vitality purchase would put them over the $50…right?
Thanks for this….what a great moneymaker!

I guess Im a little confused on how the wellness card works. I thought it was just a kind of club card, so could you still get a rebate without one? Do you have a website I can check out?
Charlene says
Tina you do not need the card if you don’t feel like it. You won’t get that extra $5 rebate without it and your prices might be higher than those listed. So I look at it just like a CVS or a Safeway card.
I posted about it here:
http://myfrugaladventures.com/2010/04/rite-aid-wellness-program-starting-tomorrow/
From what I am seeing most of the in ad sale prices will be based on using your Wellness card so if you do not care to get one, I would be very careful to triple check the prices before you buy anything.
Charlene says
Yes Kristin I think so just depending on if your total was $50 after coupons. Apparently it is working on pre coupon totals but the Rite Aid system is due to change over anytime and that should be corrected. So I do not want to post anything against Rite Aid policy and anything that might not work for everyone. Good call- forgot about the Coppertone!
Charlene says
Kristin- it is working on pre coupon amounts is my understanding. I have to respect what Rite Aid has very specifically posted in the rebate which is after coupons. So I don’t want to recommend anything other than that. Also as I said above they are due to switch computer systems any time so I would just plan to spend $25 or $50 after coupons as they said to be safe. But to answer your question I haven’t the foggiest how it is actually tracked and I don’t know how the new system they are launching will work. It shouldn’t impact us just their side for tracking purposes on the rebates.
Charlene says
Chelsea- I changed the link to go direct to the coupon- can you see it now?
Coupongirl says
I was wondering for the Aveeno vitality rebate, a while ago I submitted the $10 rebate, can I still submit this $20 rebate?
Charlene says
Coupongirl- I am not sure. If you log into your SCR account I believe it will tell you the number of the rebates you have already submitted. See if it mentions #555. I am sorry there have been so many deals T RA lately and we just switched to a new rebate book so I am not certain.
Coupongirl says
Sorry, I was not clear with my question. I was asking about the Aveeno vitality rebate (this one: https://www.aveeno.com/sites/default/files/AVF-11838%20Rebate_Rd1.pdf). Last month, I submitted a $10 rebate and now that they have this $20 rebate, I was wondering if I coupon submit again since the value of the rebate is different.
kristen says
I’m a little confused about your post saying it’s the same rebate as the Olay rebate. I did the Olay Regenerist deal last week, but it looks from my account like that was Rebate #73 – and the dates on that don’t overlap w/ the dates on rebate #555. Is there another Olay rebate that might make me ineligible for the Skin Care #555?
Charlene says
Kristen.
There was the $50 thing a few days for Olay that is the one that overlaps:
http://myfrugaladventures.com/2010/05/olay-even-better-at-target-rite-deal-no-coupons-needed/
If you did the one for $20 wyb the two items that was 3 days only that shouldn’t effect this rebate.
Charlene says
Coupongirl-
You know I am not sure. I would think since they are different rebates it would be fine but since I am risking your money and not mine here I would suggest you give Aveeno a call and double check.
1-877-298-2525 8-8 EST and I remember calling once it was ages on hold.
Coupongirl says
Thanks Charlene!
I’ll try to call once I get a hold of a home phone, so that I won’t waste my cell phone minutes 🙂

Got it. Thank you! It printed for me too…I rarely get redplum to print for me. Thanks!!!!

Ok, now I can’t get the sunscreen coupon to come up. Anyone else having trouble with Aveeno’s website? I can’t get it to move past the registration screen.
Stephanie says
Just so you know, the Aveeno Ageless Vitality is included in the 20% off Aveeno at Rite Aid this week. It is on sale for $31.99.
Charlene says
Stephanie was that marked as the price in your store? We checked two stores and both had them at $39.99 this week- the sunscreen was 20% off and that was it.
Christy says
Another idea in case you don’t have the $5 Aveeno coupon (like me)…Neutrogena qualifies for rebates 555 and 655. There is a $5 in ad coupon, and you can print a $5 mq and a $15 rebate form here http://www.neutrogenaclinical.com/offers I think these are priced around $30-$40ish, so this should make for a nice deal.
Stefani says
I have definitely bookmarked this post. This sounds like a great deal. I just signed up for one of those wellness cards too this weekend.
Mary says
Well I just took forever figuring out how to get to $50 after coupons to get the $25 + $5 rebates and also the $20 Ageless Vitality rebate. I thought I had it figured out and went to the store. I had to go to 2 different stores to get what I needed. I got in the car, looked at my receipts and for some reason the Ageless Vitality came up at $31.99 before any of the coupons. I have entered them all for the SCR and will be anxious to see how much I get credited for the purchases. It seems like I will have to go back and get a few more things to bring me up the the $50 total I need. It is a great deal and I am not complaining since we have many items to purchase and plenty of time to get to the total, but it is a bit confusing to figure this all out with all the programs. Also, do any of you have good deal you know about in the upcoming weeks that would go towards that pacticular rebate.
